Initially I was looking to purchase Air tickets for overseas travel with my family and I found this company online and on May 15th, 2014 I booked my travel tickets for myself, wife and our infant child. We booked our our onward journey tickets for the date December 5th, 2014 and return date from Hong Kong to be on January 5th, 2015. So, we had confirmed booking for this original schedule. I have paid $4571 for the same to this company.
A few days later we decided that my wife and my child wanted to leave a week ahead of Thanks giving (22nd Nov) and I will join them on December 5th. So I called Makemytrip.com company and asked them to reschedule ONLY the onward journey for my wife and the infant baby and pre-pone to November 22nd, 2014 and keep the return journey plan as is so that we could return together on January 5th, 2014. But, when rescheduling this tickets the customer service representative changed the return journey date from January 5th to January 1st for my wife and child. I did not realize this because I did not check this date change because I request date change only for the onward journey and they had no business changing dates for our return journey. I have all the chat transcripts, quotes to prove they were wrong. Now I have been battling them to fix this issue since it is their fault and Makemytrip.com has been non-responsive most of the time and they say I will be charged money to have this travel dates fixed. They are trying to get away with this incorrect business practise.I feel cheated and misguided by this company and they are not willing to fix this issue for me. I am so ready to sue this company!
