COMPLAINT:
24 jan 15: While trying to make booking, amount of INR 26998/- deducted from my account, but tickets not issued. I received email stating that it may have happened as either the seats are not available or the Ticket prices may have changed. Till date neither the ticket price has changed and the seats are available as well. As my bank paid money and availability is also not an issue, it is clearly the MMT.com website which is at fault.
24 Jan 15: I received email that my entire payment of INR 26998/- will be refunded.
24 Jan 15: I received email that 24000/- has been processed as my refund(i paid 26998/-). With no explanation of the reason for not providing complete refund.
25 Jan 15: As it was very important travel for me and I had availed advance from my office, I called up MMT.com and requested that as the money is still with them, and there is no change in price or the seats, I may be issued confirmed tickets. This did not happen although MMT.com informed me there 95% chance of success, if at all it happens it will happen in next 6 hours.
25 jan 15: I again called up to know the reason for incomplete refund I was told that MMT.com will check with the account team and will provide complete refund in 4 days.
25 Jan 15: I lodged a written complaint at MMT.com website and was issued ticket no:[protected], escalated at level 2,
27 Jan 15 I called up to check my refund status, I was informed it will take 4 working days from 27 Jan 15(they ignored my last call on 25 Jan 15 where they informed 4 day not 4 working days)
29 Jan 15: I checked my refund status on mmt.com website and it said Refund is now complete for INR23602/-(not 26698/- not 24000/-)
Still no reason given for less refund.
THIS IS IMPORTANT TRAVEL FOR ME.
IT IS MMT.COM WEBSITE FAILURE AS MY BANK MADE COMPLETE PAYMENT, FLIGHT IS STILL AVALAIBLE, SEATS ARE STILL AVAILABLE, TICKET PRICES ARE UNCHANGED TILL DATE.
MMT.COM HAS FAILED TO PRVIDE ME CONFIMED TICKETS EVEN AFTER MY REQUEST TO PREFER TICKETS IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITIONS(24 JAN 15) EVEN WHEN THE MONEY WAS WITH THEM.
I HAVE MADE NUMEROUS CALLS TO MMT.COM, BUT THEIR CUSTOMER CARE SYSTEM IS TOO COMPLICATED & TO TIME CONSUMING AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE REQUIRED CLARITY.
MMT.COM IS NOT READY TO COMPENSATE ME WITH ESCALATION IN TICKET PRICES(IF IT HAPPENS) ON THE DATE THE AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT,
IF I AM UNABLE TO TRAVEL BECAUSE OF INEFFICIENT SERVICES OF MMT.COM I SHALL BE FORCED TO PRESS CHARGES SEPARATELY FOR THIS MATTER. Was this information helpful? |
