MakeMyTrip.com — Messed up dates Hotel and Flight Combo and no help since a week | |
I used the Hotel + Flight combo booking for my trip to delhi. My actual travel dates are from 16th to 18th of February. When the payment was done, my confirmation shows that i am flying on February 15 and returning on February 17 and my hotels are booked from February 16th to February 18th.
I have been trying to call on the hotline since a week now and have not been helped at all. In fact, i was told that I made a mistake in booking the flight. How is that possible when you enter the dates just once while booking a hotel and flight combo and the hotel reservation dates are right and the flight dates are messed up. It was my birthday on January 20 and i spend 4 hours trying to get through the right person and get a solution to my problem. Everytime the line was transferred to "Concerned Department" which was not answered for 5 times in 2 days. I was told i would receive a call from technical department today, but I did not get any call. I try to reach to the extension of the people whom i spoke to, their extensions do not exist as per the message. I was asked to send an email and would receive a response in 24 hours, it has been 48 hours and no response.
Makemytrip.com claims of having a 24 hour service hotline and I still have not received any solution cause the people who could help have left the office by the time i call them as i live in U.S.A. and have a time difference.
I have emailed to [protected]@makemytrip.com, but there was no reply from them. Now I am thinking is this a scam?
