[Resolved] MakeMyTrip.com — Ticket Cancellation and Refund | |||
On July 8 I purchases this ticket with booking reference Id NF[protected] on MakeMyTrip.com. This Website offers an Auto list of regular Travelers attached to ones account. I booked three tickets and after the comfirmation I realized that it has taken my name twice. So the looked like 1. Manish Khatar - myself 2. Maurya Khattar - my son 3. Manish Khattar - again my name. I immediately called MakeMyTrip and they advised me that they will check with Technical team and if the issue is with website they will refund the entire ticket. I kept following this for two months and I was always told that this is my mistake and have to bear the cancellation charge. Also their webiste never allowed me to escalate this issue to Management. This was not over when I cancelled my ticket and just got Rs. 229 out of Rs. 3000 Booking ID: NF[protected] Airline Penalty: INR 1920 MakeMyTrip Service Fee: INR 250 Convenience Fee (Non-Refundable): INR 600 Refund Amount: INR 229 This is absolute harassment and arbitrariness of this website. Further in regards to your complaint, please note that while confirming booking we usually give option to add name before generating any confirmation and making payment. Also we have verified with our technical team specifically in regards to your booking only and found that second name was also being updated by the user.
We understand your concern and as a onetime goodwill gesture we are processing refund for our additional charges i.e. for INR 850/- as a waiver of Make trip charges which would be reflecting in your account as per your bank processing cycle.
