Complaint-
I booked a bus ticket on line through Make My Trip (Booking ID-NU [protected] )
Operator Name- New Shatabdi Bus Joshi / operator PNR -TS-MMT[protected] WAE (operator PNR 13541)
For travel from Lucknow to Agra on 24.10.14 (alloting sleeper berth - S/2 in AC bus)
The ticket mention Boarding time – 9 p.m (boarding point land mark –Awadh Hospital )

The above travel operator harassed me, causing loss of time, inconveniences, through their wrong intimation & uncourteous behaviour, necessitating me to put my complaint with claim of compensation due to deficiency in services on following points-
a- Your on line ticket print out do not mention amount.
b- You charged amount Rs.1334/-for full journey from Lucknow- to -New Delhi (but issued ticket upto Agra), who has authorised you to collect higher amount.
c- I reached at boarding point (mentioned in ticket-( –Awadh Hospital, Deo Hospital, near Anmol
Restorent, ( Hardoi Sitapur Road ) Lucknow and waited sometime, but on enquiry, I found that there is
no provision of any such service near reported boarding point. I had tension since my local taxi
has left that place by then.
d- I tried to contact over phone no. given in ticket (emergency phone [protected]- to find the mobile as switched off )
e- I got tensed & tried to contact another mobile no. given in ticket ( [protected]- to be advised only to note 3rd mobile no. to get any information )
f- This 3rd phone told me to be a driver (I presumed him as related bus driver ), who told me to reach Blue bus standing at gate-3 of Piccadily Hotel (about 700- 800 meters away), I hired a rickshaw & paid for it to reach there tensed)
g- On reaching there, I was informed by bus operator staff, that they have 3 buses, today blue bus will not go &, sit in another bus standing there.
h- Bus started at 10 pm (against advised departure of 9 pm ) & the ticket was checked by bus conductor & berth was given in 4th cabin (each double decker cabin had one twin sharing berth (there was no numbering on any sleeper berth-ticket allotted berth as S-2 ) . How can there be a twin sharing single berth (with no division/partion)
i- I could not sleep all night, under fear (who will be next sleeping passenger in same undivided berth ), but no 2nd passenger joined because of festival.
j- Bus was scheduled to reach Agra by 5 am, so at 5.17 am, I went to driver to enquire the status, but I was shocked to know that bus will not go Agra and has taken Express Highway for Delhi.
k- Driver told me that he was not told that there was any passenger for Agra in bus. ( bus conductor checked up ticket at lucknow before allotting me berth ) So bus by passed Agra at around 4 am ( scheduled arrival at Agra was 5 am ) & headed for Delhi through Express Highway.. Bus did not stop and bus driver told me rudely to contact ticket booking office. I tried to contact the the phone numbers given in ticket as mentioned above, , no one picked up phone & I was forced to sit upto Delhi..
l- It was a festival day (bhai duij ) & my relatives at Agra drop point kept waiting for me since 5 am.
m- I had to jump out of bus at Jewar toll plaza (152 km away from Agra towards Delhi ) to catch next available ordinary roadways bus for Agra (Hapur depot bus –UP 14 DT/4775 Rs.159/-) to reach by 9.30 am.
Thus you are advised to pay immediately the compensation of Rs.5000 + expenses+Ticket cost immediately to my card account, else i will take legal recourse & reporting to press about such inhuman behaviour, excess fare charging, uninformed change of bus & changing route .
