[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip.com — Unsuccessful Booking : Money is not getting refunded

I was trying to book an International Flight on 19th of March, 2015 through Makemytrip.com . My payment for the flight went through and money was deducted from my account but the makemytrip server gave some error code (like : Our server is tired) and the booking did not go through. I tried calling customer care and they told me that they the transaction is not successful and the money is on my bank's side. I raised concern with my bank and bank came back within 2 days confirming that the transaction went through successfully. I then raised a formal complaint ( Reference ID:[[protected]] ) raising this issue providing my bank details of the transaction. It is almost 2 weeks since then and I did not receive any response except some of the automatic ones. I tried calling customer care and supposedly they raised this to their accounts team but I am not seeing the deducted money is getting deposited back to my bank account. First and foremost, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you as what happened is certainly not in line with our service standards.

Further please note that, we have validated the case at our end and found that your booking was not confirmed with us and your refund of complete amount of INR 183081.00 will be initiated from our end on 11-Apr-15. We will keep a follow up on the same and will take this to the closure on priority.

I do not understand why it is taking so much time to get the money refunded.It has been more than 3 weeks.
Also, first, when I reported the same through customer complaint (Reference ID:[protected], I did not get a single reply apart from the automated one.. I have to keep going back to your site and escalate it, call customer care until on 4thApril some one from customer care told me (not through mail, I called them) that I have to submit bank statement showing the debit. I immediately send the same. Then on the same day I got reply from customer care that the issue will be resolved within 72 hours!!
It has been 1 week from then, and whenever I call customer care, I got the same reply (and sometimes they hang up one me) that it will be resolved. Once even they told, that the money has been transferred to bank and bank will credit it. When I asked for the reference number for the same to take up with bank, they promised to email me the same but I did not get any mail!!

Again on 7th April, I am seeing some new complaint has been created (not by me, with a different Reference ID :[protected] and I got yesterday a mail telling me : "we have escalated this refund concern to our accounts team to validate the records and the response is awaited. We request you to kindly cooperate with us and we ensure to get back to you within 72 working hours to share the status with you."

I do not know what is going on!!!

I received the refund back, just short of couple of days to one month after I had this issue.
I will always remember this and makemytrip will loose myself and my friends as their csutomer.
