we had booked the ticket for Madras to Manchester on above date. the initial onward was on 8th Oct and with return on 23rd Oct. On the 6th we called makemytrip to make some changes to the booking. The agent upon discussing with us mentioned that she has made the ticket as open for 12 months and that we have to pay some charges towards it and asked us to confirm 24 hours prior to departure and emailed the same confirmation to us. When we called on the 8th to confirm the tickets, we are being (a) asked to pay no show penalties and (b) being told that the booking for return has been cancelled, since we did not travel on the 8th. When we enquired how that is possible since we have an email confirmation, there is no response. We have been promised call back 4 or 5 times so far and no one has called. There is no esclation contact as well.
