My name is Anshi Saksena, student of Banasthali University. I had booked two bus tickets from Jaipur to Lucknow from UPSRTC for 2nd November, 5 p.m. PNR number: XJPR[protected] SEAT number: 44 and 45. On the day of boarding, I reached the required Alambagh bus station one hour before the departure time, also boarded the correct bus and the allotted seat, i.e, seat number 44 and 45.
But surprisingly two more passengers arrived claiming their ownership over the same seat. I approached the conductor, as it was the matter of concern as we were two girls by ourself of barely 20 years. The conductor checked the chart which showed the allotment of those seats to the other passengers. With our name not mentioned with the seat allotted by you, we were forcefully asked to leave the bus. All officials turned a deaf ear to our complain in spite of showing them the sms of the ticket you forwarded. To my amazement, I had to miss my bus and no one came to my aid. This wasn't expected out of such a honcho as makemytrip. Further, i would like to inform you that it was very urgent to reach my college, for the submission of my semester form for which I now require to pay 3000 as fine. I ask you to refund my ticket with the fare of the new bus ticket and also my college fine to incur my losses. I humbly request you to consider my complain seriously and sincerely else I would not hesitate to lodge a Consumer forum case of cheat on your company to claim back my money with compensation. It was a matter of humiliation in front of other passengers, as they viewed me and my fellow passenger as the one without tickets.
