In reference to below mentioned transaction on my credit card,
Tranx of inr 58, 276.00 using credit card 5xxx9000 is made at makemytrip indi on 06-apr-18. Avbl cr lmt:inr xxxxxx, total cr lmt: inr xxxxxxx
I tried to do this transaction 2 times by selecting no cost emi on makemytrip (Merchant) website but both the times after entering the otp the booking failed due to reasons unknown to me.
Since i didn’t want the price to be increased, trying third time i by passed no cost emi from merchant side, just selected credit card and converted to 6 months emi on bank’s portal, knowing that this wouldn’t qualify for no cost emi.
But i actually was eligible for no cost emi and wanted to avail it, but due to technical issue between bank and merchant i couldn’t avail that.
After that i called icici customer care explaining the situation and they told me that merchant, within 1 month of the transaction can convert the emi to no cost emi, but that can only be done from makemytrip side.
Now makemytrip is asking for this informtion in written from icici bank.
