MakeMyTrip India — Automatic cancellation of 2nd leg ticket on account of non travelling the first leg

I booked my ticket from doha to chennai thru mmt on etihad. Dueto emergency, i flew down before the prescribed date. When i was about to return back on the same date, they denied me the boarding saying they have automatically cancelled my ticket. I request for a 50% refurnd of the ticket, but they give my 3k out of 20k. Neither do they respond to any calls/mails.
