I did a flight booking for my Parents from Bhopal to Bangalore for 7th Feb 2023 which was schedule at 10:25 AM and a Cab was booked in Advance at 4 AM for pickup using makemytrip.com from Sagar to Bhopal for 7th Feb, cab was supposed to come at 4 AM for pickup so that they can reach around 8 AM at Bhopal Airport for Flight Check-in.
Unfortunately, Cab Driver of makemytrip didn't respond till 6 AM. We called service support and Driver's number numerous times however no one picked up. I had to Reschedule my parents Flights on the day which was available at 16:30 PM on the same day.
Both my Parents are senior citizens, they were waiting for the Cab from 4 AM to 6 AM considering it was early winter morning while it was still dark, the no show cast by cab drive left them with a lot of Stress and anxiety as they have to catch up flight at 10:25 AM Flight from Bhopal.
Due to this unresponsible from support and cab driver, we have to pay an extra cost for tickets schedule for the same day in evening.
I have called customer care services several times over the days following the day of the incident and spend several hours explaining the issue and have sent several emails to customer care service but did not get any resolution from them as they kept transferring me between cab and Flight department while no department was taking ownership of the issue caused by their unreliable service.
Due to this Cab service issue, we have to pay an extra cost for tickets. I would like to take action on this and request a 2nd flight booking refund of 15353 Rs .
