[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — Bus ticket refund

I made 2 tickets (bus journey) booking on 30th OCT 2016 for same day travel (commencing within a few hours). While payment was processing, got error message "Your payment has been processed, however due to a technical error, the system was unable to confirm your booking. This is a rare occurrence and can happen when there is a sudden drop in seat availability."

Made the booking again. got same message again, money got deducted again.

To my understanding from the error message, my booking didn't get through and still awaiting confirmation (I coulnd't ahve waited long because the journey was just 2 hours later)

Called MakeMyTrip (MMT) helpline (at 30th oct 2016, 7:50 pm, 4 mins post booking) the customer care executive assured this happens sometimes, it won't reflect in app booking history (it still doesn't), it would take 45 mins to reflect in MMT system and money will be refunded in 7-8 working days.

Next day get 2 e-tickets, dated 30th october (although I got the mail on 31st) with no intimation from MMT that my payment was processed or that tickets will be issued. I have 2 text messages from MMT dated 30th OCT16 timed 9:45 pm and 9:55 pm stating the status of my booking will be confirmed shortly.when the journey time was 10 pm (i couldn't possibly have waited till literally the last minute for MMT to confirm my booking) (message screenshot attached below)

Made complaint on 1st november about the same, (Spoke to 2 executives - the first call got disconnected midway. The second executive assured MMT will get back in 24 hours, Called on 3rd NOV again was told the complaint never was registered.

When I registered the complained during the 3rd NOV call the complaint was completely misunderstood
got follow up message "if you made double booking you should have called the same day to cancel the booking." (which never was the issue in the first place).

Called customer care again - was promised a call back from a superior in 30 mins - NEVER GOT ANY FOLLOW UP CALL.

I need clarity on status. Will MMT payback the money for the journey which I was told was never confirmed till post the journey date, promised a refund but went back on its words .
