Booked a cab service with makemytrip and chose the partial payment option (paid some amount in advance and rest as cash on arrival). However to my horror, makemytrip billed me almost twice the amount on arrival. I tried reaching makemytrip customer service to understand the issue but was unable to reach customer service and got lost in the IVR options. Since there was no other option left, I paid the driver and later raised a complaint with makemytrip. After investigation by makemytrip, it was clear the driver had fraudulently entered wrong number of miles to inflate the amount. After sitting on the issue for 2-3 days and even though after knowing the driver fraudulently inflated the miles, makemytrip decided to side with the driver and started asking me for proof (apparently the invoice they send you is not considered proof by them)
