Make my Trip has always been the option I have availed for all the bookings for my vacations and I have had a good experience with the same. But with Booking ID - NL[protected] for the trip that we have planned for Kashmir has been a nightmare. I am totally dissatisfied with the Relationship Manager who has done this booking on our behalf. (Harshit Kumar from Noida).
Firstly, the booking was done on Feb 22nd and we clearly told Harshit about the expectations that we are looking for a direct flight from HYD to Srinagar and vice versa. The booking was done as per that only and we were ok to take the highest package. Harshit was not ok to even wait for a day and insisted us to take the package and make the initial payment, which was done.
We received an email from the airlines stating that due to operational issues the direct flight has been cancelled and they were providing us with options to choose flights which had haults and stops which we are not comfortable with. The main intention to do the bookings through MMT is to ensure we have a hassle free vacation and this was not happening.
Next, Mr Harshit Kumar made mistakes in booking the flight where there was mistake in the name spelt in the tickets.
Now as the airlines have cancelled the flight, I look for a complete refund of the initial Rs. 49, 570 payment that was made as this is a pathetic experience.
We have been trying to reach out to Harshit via emails and phone calls since two days and have not received a call back. We have also sent an email to [protected]@makemytrip.com and have called all possible numbers however we have not got any positive response or help from anyone.
MMT has been a good travel provider, but such services and responses make the experience of the customer think twice to even think or recommend to anyone we personally know.
I oblige you to refund me the complete amount at the earliest as we still have time for this travel date (April 15th) and cancellations should not be a problem to such a big company that too with valid reasons where our recommendations for the flight was not considered and also the tickets were booked with spelling mistakes by your travel agent / relationship Manager (Harshit Kumar). I did speak to Bhavana Sharma as well and she was also not able to help and said if we cancel 40, 000 wud be deducted from 50K amount paid. Are you all here to cheat people ??? This is pathetic, when we are giving u the details to cancel the trip almost 40 days in advance, you people are still saying that there would be cancellation charges of 40K which is unacceptable.
If the refund is not issued then I would be left with no option rather than adding this testimony to all available social network platforms which I do not want to.
Awaiting for your response on this at the earliest.
