MakeMyTrip India — customer harassment and indirect robbery

We are really disappointed by the unprofessional approach & the bad services provided by make my trip as it causes so much inconvenience to the customers. My brother has booked the ticket from mmt website on 4th of march 2018 : mmt booking id nn[protected] for travel to pat - muc traveling in the month of july. When confirmed on the makemytrip app (Which mmt proudly promotes to the customers to manage, find updates and latest news for their bookings) the departure time was mentioned the same as during the time of booking.

His entire journey was a mess. While travelling from munich to patna, mmt gave him a spicejet flight. There is no spicejet counter at munich airport. He waste 1 hour to find out who would be providing the boarding pass. Luckily with the help from local staff members from munich airport, he went to austrian airlines. They told that they can only provide boarding pass this vienna. From vienna, he again was wandering at the airport to collect his boarding pass. When he reached delhi, his flight to patna was also rescheduled. But great god, he was already at the airport and found the updates on the information tv.

This crapy experience was still not over for him. When my brother reached the airport it was informed to him, that the flight has already departed as it was rescheduled. There was no prior information of the same before the flight via mail and mmt app showed the same timings. As a service provider it is your duty to provide such updates few days before the flight.

Now when asked about this unprofessional approach of not updating my brother nor the mmt app, mmt representatives are saying that mail was sent 5 months back regarding the time slot change.

Boss have you really lost it. You want me to believe something which you sent 5 months back and also remember it by heart? For that matter of fact not the mmt app which still shows the same time as shown while booking. This is insane and just a way of fooling and harassing customers. I had an important meeting to attend and because of your mismanagement i had to bear huge business losses. Are you going to pay for the losses or reschedule my big meeting. I am sure you cannot.

When the same information was asked to shikha munda, she proudly takes 6 days to validate this information. She informs my brother that the flight schedule change was already informed to him 5 months back. Mmt takes 6 days to find out the information about this entire process but you want my brother to remember 5 months old information. Did you send him a revised ticket? "no". Did you guys update him 1 month/1 week/ on 29th july before the flight? "no". But you proudly say that my brother should remember an email sent out by you 5 month back. Do you know how many crappy offer mails you send him everyday? You would feel so ashamed about it, that i cannot even answer.

Any customer who uses your services, expects updates being sent out by you. You are managing their flights, thats why you are running such a huge business.

You definetly need to reimburse the amount my brother has lost with result of rebooking of another ticket.

Please call him back on +[protected] or me ([protected]) asap and update how are you proceeding with this. Else i am taking this case to the consumer court. I have been patient enough and following up with shikha munda since 30th july 2018 but i can see its been unnecessarily dragged and eating up my precious time.

I recently had a talk with Mr. Sazid, as per his update, I had to confirm on the email that was sent out to me on 18th of March that I accept the changes. I get this information after your extensive research, which took almost 8 days, to tell me that there was an email which I had to confirm to MMT to get an updated e-ticket.

This totally sound absurd where MMT send thousands of email, spamming my inbox and expect me to find such a mail and believe on your MMT app which you promote while putting people on hold. Mr. Sazid explains me the weirdest logic that since I didn't reply on this email, an automatic mail was sent out to the airlines (which here is AirIndia) but will not magically send me an updated eticket or update my travel itinerary on your MMT app.

This entire journey was a chaos, I have suffered from the start of the journey till the very end. Mr Sazid and Ms Shikha as a human being take 7-8 days to find out an information about MMT email to me and you expect me to remember 5 month old data and not your MMT app??

This is totally absurd, you are just trying to make a fool out of me. I have been mentally, physically and financially tortured by your service. You cannot dodge me with an a mail sent out to me 5 month old. If you had this information update the customer when he is travelling or in your app.
