MakeMyTrip India — Guest Harassment and Insecurity of Female Guest at Hotel Shiwalik Regency | |
I booked a superdeluxe room with Shivalik Regency Shimla for 11 Oct to 14 Oct. But we faced the following problems and was forced to leave the room 1. There was no key of the room was given to us even after frequent reminders when we checkedin . The key which was given was not functional. We returned to our room on 11 Oct 2021 at around 7:45 pm and key which was given to us was not functional so the hotel staff opened our room with master key and denied us to give our room key till morning. There was no lock in the room and the room cannot be locked as a female guest I was very insecure about my safety as the hotel staff could easily enter the room at night. I had to book a room in some other hotel at around 9 pm at the night. 2. The hotel tried to charge Rs 700 for the meal taken by us in the afternoon whereas the bill was of Rs 400. 3. The bed sheets and towel were dirty and when informed our problem to housekeeping they simple denied to change them. Kindly look into the matter as it is about female unsafety and guest harrasment.Also I had to take room in other hotel and had to pay there as well. No refund has been issued. I have compalined to makemytrip 4 times but they are trying to close my complaint without my consent and are taking the hotel’s side. I need my advance paid and want to ensure the safety of the other travellers especially female travellers in Hotel Shivalik Regency Shimla Was this information helpful? | |
