[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — horrible bus services by makemytrip

On 14th April 2018, I booked 6 seats of a Bus through makemytrip app from rishikesh to Delhi for our trip on 15th April 2018 whose starting point is Nepali Farm Circle and Bus was supposed to start its journey at 7:31 PM. The bus operator was shakti Travels. I assumed that I & my family will get the most comfortable journey since it has been booked from MakeMyTrip as they claim that they are the number 1 travel company in India. They did not show any pic of the bus in their App. However, this journey turned out to be the most horrible journey I have ever had which kept my family's safety & security at stake. I suffered both mentally and financially during this journey.
Here are few of the points which will help you understand why this journey has been most uncomfortable, horrible, unsafe, & pathetic journey I have ever had for both me and my family:
1) Me & my family, were asked to wait at Nepali Farm Circle, Rishikesh which is the extremely secluded & dark isolated place to wait. The bus was supposed to arrive at 7:31 PM but it arrived at 8:30 PM. There was no office of Shakti Travels there. Only 1 small local shop from where 1 lady was coordinating for multiple operators. Infact, she also was not sure at exactly what time the Bus will arrive. There were people drinking alcohol there and anything would have happened.
2) Comfortable Journey: As soon as I entered the Bus, it was extremely uncomfortable. There was no space to stand properly, there was no space between lower chair seat and upper Sleeper Seats. Whenever a speed breaker comes, our head bangs on the upper sleeper seats. This could have also caused an injury into our head.
3) Difficulty in breathing: The A/C was not working properly even after multiple complaints. It was difficult to breathe for me and my family. I even went towards the Driver area.
4) Safety at stake: Mine and my family's safety was kept at stake. The bus operator kept on stopping at various places to fill the bus with unreserved passengers.
All a passengers expects during his 6-7 hour long journey with his family is Comfort, Safety & Security, No Suffocation, Best Services. As you can see from above points. All these things were missing.

There has been really no support from MakeMyTrip at all even after complaining to them about this case number of times as well as speaking with their senior management number of times.
All they are offering is Rs 500 voucher and there has been no action against the Bus Operator.
I want a full refund of the journey I had and a strict action against the Bus Operator.

Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case and found that, there were some issues with the provided bus, however, all the reported issues are operational issues which ae beyond our control. Bus vendor has agreed to provide a refund of Inr 500/ only. We have taken cognizance of your comments and the spirit in which you have shared your feedback. I have booked a domestic hotel from MMT but booking got failed but the amount was debited.They told that they will give my refund back but its almost a month and still i am fighting for my money.And booking was failed two times so the amount was also debited two times
