We had booked "Guwahati and Kaziranga-Wildlife Special" holiday packsge through MakeMy trip between 15th - 21st April.
The tour was to cover Shillong (2N) • Kaziranga (2N) • Guwahati (2N).
The stay at Shillong & Guwahati was good but the holiday got totally ruined in Kaziranga.We were put up in a ongoing renovation, no maintenance accommodation - Kazhiranga Eco Village which had a shack for a kitchen and the utensils being washed in the most unhygienic way with least bit of thought to the ongoing pandemic. The Relationship Manager from Makemy Trip(Ms.Akshata) assigned to us claimed she was on leave and would entertain only whatsapp messages but no resolution. As we were travelling with kid, in a desperate effort registered a online complaint and the lady who called said her role was limited to forwarding the concern to the team on field . We found no resolution. Stayed in this filthy place with dog poop in front of the door which never got cleared till we checked out. The resort had no food to offer the cab drivers which had to be taken care of by us at last.
Two in our group decided to cut short the trip after the 4th day. Called/Mailed MakemyTrip asking them to cancel one of the three rooms booked at Guwahati as there would be only four o[censored]s checking in. They refused to accommodate this request as well.
Overall, after charging a bomb, Makemy trip booked accommodation in lousy places and ruined the whole experience .
What is the point in allocating a Holiday Manager who is on leave and refuses to help when needed? Why a platform for Customer Concern if they are not going to get solutions? Their Customer Care team is totally useless.
