We had booked 5 days & 6 Night trips to Ladakh in MMT with booking references -L[protected], NL[protected]. Our trip was planned from Delhi to Leh with all sightseeing & back to Delhi. We were supposed to be back to Delhi on 6th of May & on 5th of May we got to know our Go first flight got cancelled.
Sequence of Events:-
1) On 4th May - As per our travel plan, we were in Pangong & no network zone. The MMT Team was fully aware of that. However, they just contacted our not reachable numbers instead of reaching out to the drivers who could be easily contacted/traced, or even they could have contacted the hotel/cottages where we were put on.
2) On 5ht May on reaching Leh, after seeing the messages on whatsapp, we contacted MMT, but they did not provide any alternative plans.
3) Our travel plan included 6 ladies members & we were left stranded at Leh as there were no flights left between 5th May to 12th May to reach Delhi.
4) As per original plan, we had made our other bookings from Delhi to respective places. We had to cancel those flights resulting in a loss of around 45k overall.
5) After continuous reachout also, MMT does not help us in any way, rather their operations executives talk rudely to our members.
6) Finally, we extended our stay in Leh by one day by booking hotels on our own by paying 10k for 4 rooms.
7) Next day, we had to take a road drive from Leh to Kashmir which is via Kargil, a risky route where road & climatic conditions are really horrible.
8) Again from Srinagar we had to take a road drive to Jammu & finally stay put in a Jammu hotel for a night.
9) This road drive lasted for about 30 hours in a stretch & cost around 35k overall. The hotel stay at Jammu cost us around 6k.
10) From Jammu airport, we had to book flights to respective places, for which we had to pay around 20k per person, rounding to 1.6lakhs overall.
Please let us know if any of these harassment can be compensated in any means. Else, we have only one option to register a complaint in DGCA or any relevant authority and go public about this situation by using social media platforms & requesting friends not to use MMT for any travel bookings or any holiday packages.
