[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — Promised date change of ticket not honoured

On nov 1st we tried to make an international booking via mmt over the internet. But as some technical problem occurred it did not work so make my trip (Mr deepak chaudhary) called us and we continued making the booking on the phone. We were asked if we wanted to pay an extra amount in order to make the date changeable up to a year. We cannot remember the exact amount. But we agreed to this. However when we indeed tried to change the ticket, we were told that the ticket was not changeable so we lost most of our money.

We find it not acceptable that the oral information we received was misleading: we were told the ticket was changeable for an extra fee, when it was not.
The information on the ticket was incomprehensible phrase for an average consumer: crucial information should not be communicated with a acronym: “rir date change fee before departure n p +500 inr”. Mmt claims that n. P. Would mean “not permissible”. An average reader can not know that, particularly because of the “+rs500” behind the acronym. It makes no sense to charge money for something that would not be possible. So np would more likely refer to something else that includes a condition (“as available” or something like that)

We have booked a complaint about this on dec 22 and received a confirmation that our complaint was received (Id[protected]. This is now more than 10 days ago and we still have not heard back from mmt.

For any further assistance regarding the booking, we request you to share the bank statement from the date of transaction to till now. So that we can get this checked from our accounts team.

Please note that as we have validated the complete case and found that there was a technical error due to which the agent informed you that you can re-open your ticket status and then do the date change.
However, as per airline norms ticket is completely Non-refundable and Non-changeable.

Still as It was MakeMyTrip error we would like to compensate you with Future Travel Voucher worth of INR 10000/- which can be utilized for your future bookings.

Also we would like to inform you that if it was a case of date change then also you would had paid the date change penalty + fare difference.

Kindly give us go ahead for the same, so that we can share the voucher details with you as soon as possible.

I was book a flight ticket through buddy app, make my trip and sum of rupees 3427 with ref no.[protected]P01 cut from my bank account but I did not get my eticket or any pnr no so i veg help from you
