[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — refund against denial of service | |
I booked a stay for 3 days at a hotel through make my trip paying entire booking amount in advance. Before 3 days of my travel, when i called at the hotel, i was informed the hotel management that the hotel was under renovation and they will not be able to provide me the premium category of room which i had booked. The hotelier also asked me to cancel the booking. However, to claim refund of the booking amount, i called to the make my trip helpline. I was asked to wait for 45 minutes. Then again i was asked to wait for 6 more hours and there is still no resolution yet. This is a highly disregarded and fraudulent approach from make my trip towards the customer. The hotelier himself admitted that the hotel is under renovation and he will not be able to provide us the category of room which we booked. Instead of taking the action against such careless approach of the hotel management, the customer is compelled to wait and request for his rightful refund repeatedly. Such instances taint the goodwill of a reputed brand like make my trip and makes it less recommendatory. I have paid my entire booking amount in advance and the stay has not even started yet and hence, i seek refund of the entire booking amount. Kindly process the same as soon as possible because such a lethargic approach is a matter of sheer disappointment for loyal make my trip customers. Was this information helpful? | |
