I had booked two tickets in October, 2021 through MMT, India.
One for myself and one for my mother.
PNR Numbers are ELXLKA and MVRUSB
I was supposed to fly back from Chicago to Delhi on 8th February, 2022 and my mother was scheduled to fly on 27th April.
Because of her age and health issues I got her ticket preponed to 8th Feb in on 17th December, 2021 for which I paid Rs 19817 incl the shifting charges and change in fare charges.
Because of her health issues, we are not in a position to fly on 8th Feb, 2022 aswell and we decided to change the date to somewhere in April, 2022.
I was surprised when I learned that I need to pay roughly Rs 33000 if I get the date changed in my case.
In case of my mother, MMT need to get approval from the Airlines as the ticket date has changed once.
And more to my shock that I am entitled to Zero credit in case I request for cancellation of my tickets.

Here I would like to update you that both the charges are not in the line of the commitments and conditions that were updated by your learned team
I was told earlier that I ll have to pay app Rs 8000 plus change in fare charges in case I change the dates and I ll be entitled to 30% of the total cost paid in case I cancel my tickets 24 hours before the departure.
Today, the commercials as quoted by your team are altogether different from your commitments and what I had paid last month.
I leave the decision to your wisdom and experience and expect you to show some mercy on the condition of my mother who is 81 years old and is not in a condition to fly on 8th Feb, 2022.
