MakeMyTrip India — Refund for Airtickets not given fully | |||
Date of Incident: 22nd January 2021 We had booked a ticket for an AirIndia flight via MakeMyTrip for Feb 6, 2021, from Kolkata to Chennai, for three passengers. The PNR for the flight is K6FVMD and the booking ID is NF[protected]. The airline canceled the flight and we demanded a refund from them. They told us that MakeMyTrip, the agent is responsible for providing the refund. MakeMyTrip gave us a timeline of 180 days to refund the money. The total amount spent was 13583 INR for three tickets. But yesterday, they messaged us saying that they will refund money only for two tickets, i.e., 8104 INR. Despite messaging them on Facebook, they have not taken any action and are not returning our full amount. They provided a link on their Facebook Messenger saying that it is their customer service link, but when we clicked on it, no customer service page came up. It took us to their app home page. They have disabled all customer service numbers and removed the Help and Support sections from their app. Upon bringing this to their notice, they kept repeating like robots that we should use the link. I told them that the link isn't working, but they are not replying, and not doing anything to return our full refund. Please help us get our money. Was this information helpful? | |||
