MakeMyTrip India — Refund not transferred | |||
I had booked a ticket from Mumbai to London on Oman Air via Makemytrip on 4th Feb 2020. Thanks to the COVID situation, the flights were not operational. I was advised by MMT to await a full year before processing a refund so that I could avail a complete refund. I accordingly processed the request on Feb 4th 2021. The Airline has directly confirmed to me that the request has been processed on 6th March 2021 and that I should connect with the Agent, in this case, Makemytrip. While I appreciate that during covid, they may have scaled down their services 1) Their numbers insist you pick one of 3 (irrelevant options from an IVR. The person who answers is helpless because they are in railways team and not International flights. Yes, the 3 options I am getting are all totally disconnected rail booking options! Emails to [protected]@makemytrip are not being responded to. Tweets are asking for 48 hours to revert. Even that 48 hour window expired on 18th March at 13.35hrs. Really really need some hlep with getting my hard earned money back. MMT seems to be generating interest in my name. Was this information helpful? | |||
