Desirable resolution - Refund of full ticket as despite of following up for 4 months to get refund of Neelam Rani ticket, MMT is negotiating to pay only 50% of 1 ticket. They should feel the heat of the pathetic treatment they do with customers
Its not matter of money but principals
Summarizing full incident below:
1. I have booked a return flight ticket from Dubai to Delhi for my 4 family members - Mother, Wife, 2 daughters
2. The return journey was on 2nd Jan at 16:30. Due to some urgency my mother's plan got changed and we requested the travel date change on 8th Jan
3. I raised a request to date change on 30th Dec noon with the expectation that date change should be done within a few hours
4. Totally opposite to my expectations, i got in touch with an executive Bhawna Upadhyay who told me that my case is raised to some concerned department and will get resolved on priority basis
5. Post that i have called more than 15 times, you can check the call records as these were recorded for future reference.
6. Every time I was given surety that Bhawna Upadhyay is following up with the concerned department and waiting for their action.
7. Most frustrating part was that till 3 pm on 1st Jan she was unable to give response and when we connected at 3 pm she realised that concerned department sent a mail to her at 12 AM on 1st which she missed as system was not refreshed
8. More irritating part was that there was a query from the so called concerned department, which she replied at 3 PM (i.e. just 1.5 hours left before a huge penalty of less than 24 hours).
9. Despite that the date didn't change
10. I got a call from another executive, Amit Singh, that there is a technical problem at MMT and you guys can't change the date so I have to go to Airport to check with Air India. He even gave me comfort that MMT will mail me that due to technical problems MMT can't change date
11. For Obvious reasons, no mail was sent by Amit Singh which I kept waiting for before approaching Airport
12. I went to Dubai airport and got the reply that they can't help as its agent booking ticket
13. Finally we had no option but to do web checkin which somehow was not allowing for 3 passengers and it was already 24 hours left
14. This is the worst part of the whole incident where I got mail from Amit Singh who just confirmed to me an hour back that there is a technical problem at MMT and you can't change the date. Amit Singh mentioned that MMT can't change the date as its already web check in
15. Seriously...i mean seriously these guys take your customers that much granted and assumed we are real fools to follow up and expecting such a nasty reply at the end
Now I am expecting the following from MMT end:
1. Refund for ticket of all passengers with the chase for 4 months with most frustrating response despite of more than 15 calls from Dubai
2. Want to understand the so-called concerned department who kept holding my case for more than 2 days
3. How train are your executives in resolving complaints when despite regular follow ups Bhawna Upadhyay missed the mail and stopped taking my calls at the end. On the other hand, Amit Singh didn't mail me that there is a technical issue at MMT end. Over and above he sent me a mail that its my fault that MMT can't change the date
4. Should i assume now that no one in my whole circle should use MMT with such a frustrating services
