1) i made a holiday booking to greece sometime in the end of jan through make my trip india (Mmt) in1b[protected].
2) once covid-19 broke out, i wrote to mmt on 13th march and asked for a refund. The person who did the booking and who has been my point of contact throughout this distasteful experience has been assuring me that the cancellations team will get in touch with me soon but so far no one has got in touch with me. I have sent this person, ms s. J. (Not giving her full name to protect her identity) from mmt around 12 follow-up mails since my request for cancellation.
3) the airline on which i am booked keeps sending me reminders which means they have still not cancelled my airline ticket. I had informed well in advance so that the cancellation charges are minimal but if the airline ticket is still not cancelled then it means i will get hardly any refund as my travel date is only 15 days from now.
4) i am realizing mmt has no intention to resolve my issue so now looking at alternate consumer forums to see how this can be resolved. I am sure there are other consumers who are being given the same run around by make my trip.
Can make my trip or anyone else guide me on how can i get mmt to pay me my refund. Was this information helpful? |
