[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — Unable to book train tickets | |||||
I had balance in Mywallet for the flight tickets I have booked on few occasions. This time I was trying to book the ticket for train and was unable to see any option wherein I can pay the amount through Mywallet. This is really not expected from a reputed company like Makemytrip which gives me an option to utilize the Mywallet amount for Flight and Hotel booking but does not entitle me to use the same for booking for train. If this is the case wherein I dont have the freedom to use my amount as per my convenience then I would like not to use the services of makemytrip which restricts me on the way I would like to use the amount in Mywallet. Verified Support Nov 18, 2016 MakeMyTrip India Customer Care's response Dear Manmohan24 In reference to your complaint, please be advised that every scheme or offer has some terms & conditions attached to it. For wallet amount usage also there are some T&C's attached and accoding to that the bonus amount in wallet cannot be used for Rail bookings. We would take this as your suggestion or feedback and will forward this to our relevant team if any changes can be made on these conditions but as of now, we regret to inform you that the bonus amount in wallet cannot be utilize for train bookings.
