"I recently encountered a series of issues with a booking through MakeMyTrip, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. Despite the platform's claim of 24/7 customer support, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone via phone calls for assistance. When I did manage to connect with a representative, named Shivani Chatham, the support provided was shockingly unhelpful. She repeated the same information without addressing my specific queries or offering any viable solutions.
What's more, despite there being a window of opportunity to change flight dates, Shivani was not proactive in assisting me. This lack of assistance meant that I had to resort to rebooking another flight entirely, further exacerbating the situation.
It's disappointing to see MakeMyTrip excel in facilitating bookings but falter so greatly in providing adequate support for queries, cancellations, and refunds. There's a clear need for improvement in customer service standards, including greater availability, effective communication, and proactive assistance.
MakeMyTrip should strive to be more helpful, communicate properly, and provide alternative options when issues arise, even when they fall outside of the typical time constraints for changes.
