We (2)pax had selected Russian group tour from Make MyTrip.Com & sales person Ketan Mandora was handling the case from 09/01/2017.We had tentatively fixed 29/4/2017 as our departure date as we were to go on an extended Europe tour from 06/05/2017.The Land only pricing was agreed and since the GST was to increase on 22/01/2017 we hadagreed to make full payment before that.But on 19/01/2017 the European tour operator had informed us that tour on 06/05/2107 was full and 12/05/2017 was available.On that same day morning I tried in vain to Contact Ketan Mandora but I did contact his team leader Solomon Jani @12.30 through mobile phone & told him orally about the changed departure dates and whether seats are available ? He told me that even if 2 are going the tour is on.He wanted our Passports scan for names & the bank voucher.I went to the bank and sent money by NEFT @ 16.30 & sent bank voucher scan.The money received confirmation was sent only on 22/01/2017 SUNDAY.On 24/01/2017 I saw an E mail from Visa consultant of my departure date as 29/01/2017.I immediately sent an all concerned message of " wrong date of booking".Till date the sales team says I am at fault and I have to pay Rs 7000/= for change of date.If Solomon Jani had not interfered in this booking or conveyed the changed date to Ketan Mandora everything would be fine.Why should I pay for someone's mistake.There should be justice.I have all e mails to back up my case.Now Ketan says I should pay Rs.7000/= within 7 days or my trip will be cancelled.This is akin to rubbing salt in my wounds.Someone in authority should deal this case and decide either before 7 days or use clout and extend the time limit.Thanks.
