Masseren — Demo / used product sold to me instead of a new product.

Dear Sir/ Madam, This is to bring to your kind notice the following problem. I had purchased at foot massager from this company “MASSEREN” who had participated at the Home & Lifestyle Exhibition at Taleigao community Hall on 26/09/2015. The amount paid by me was Rs. 20, 000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) for a brand new piece. When it was delivered to me I found out that it was not a new piece and was one of the demo pieces which were on display for the exhibition at their respective stall. There was no instruction manual, catalogue supplied with it at the time of delivery. When I got in touch with the company which is based at 19, Mosque Road, Frazer Town, Bangalore 560005 (, they told me in October 2015 that all their new stocks are in customs and that they will deliver it to me soon and till that time they asked me to use the foot massager which they have provided. It has been almost more than 3 months now, every time I call them I am told that the concerned person is either out of station or in a meeting. After trying almost every day with great difficulty I got the concerned person on (+91-[protected]) who told me his name is Rahul on 13/11/2015 and requested me to call up after a week as he is busy. When contacted him after a week the same person answers the phone and tells me his name is Suresh and tells me he is driving and will call me back soon but never calls back. When I tried calling him back again the next day he said that he cannot send the foot massager across to me. I mean what kind of an excuse is this. I explained to him that at the time of delivering the product I was told that I will get the new massager once stocks arrived. He gives me an excuse that he can’t send it to me as he does not have staff. I requested him to send it by a courier from Bangalore but he replied that he is busy and will call back later. I kept calling him after that and he never answered by calls. Finally after trying his number he answered the call and started shouting back at me when I asked him when he could replace the unit. I was left with no option but telling him that if my product is not replaced I will have no choice but going to Consumer Forum Court. He started shouting and replied “Do what you want” and just cut the line. This shows clearly that he has no intention of replacing the unit and has just wasted my time keeping me waiting for 3 months. I request you to please take strict action against this Company “MASSEREN” as this is not the kind of service a customer would expect. They promise to give you a new product but land up supplying you a USED DEMO piece just packed in a plain box without any instruction manual. In the first place how are these kind of companies which cheat customers allowed to take participate for the exhibitions in Goa. Today it is me, tomorrow it will be someone else. I would be grateful if you could please look into the matter and take strict action. I have attached the copy of the advance receipt for your reference with all the company details.
