    I have paid for Policy premium on 10th of February 2022 and amount debited but my policy is not renewed. After 24th of Feb 2022 which is due date an auto debit transaction trigger too which cost me 590.00 Rs due to insufficient balance.
    I have e-mailed Niva Bupa several times and called several time but no satisfactory response from their side.
    Till date there is no update from their side

      Hi Sir,

      This is to bring into your notice on the challenge that I am facing with Niva Bupa in getting the refund done for the health insurance policy (Niva Bupa Health Insurance Certificate No. )which I had closed on 1 Dec 2021.
      Despite sending multiple follow ups I am not getting any response nor proper resolution.
      Could you kindly look into this issue on priority and help in taking this to closure.

      I am not getting promt response form Niva Bupa officials to the multiple emails, follow ups and grievance channels where I raised this complaint.
      I am told on 20th March that refund is credited and to check my account.I am not sure if I am being cheated since I have not got my refund amount credited to my bank account
      I had submitted all my account details along with cancelled checque and 3 months bank statement to an official, renjith.[protected]@nivabupa.com.
      I have sent multiple mails to him asking to confirm if the documents have been shared with concerned officials of Niva Bupa but he has not bothered to respond.
      Can someone please look into this at priority.
      I have interacted with multiple health insurance providers and this is the worst experience I ever had where I dont get response to my emails or calls or the online complaints raised via grievance channels.

        I purchased the health insurance policy from niva bupa and renewed the policy for the last 3 years ahead of time. In Jan 2022 when my wife was suffering from COVID fever(102.8F+) and cough and she lossed all energy so as per doctor's instructions she admitted in hospital. In the first time when I tried to have the cashless claim they denied, Niva Bupa gave the region that COVID Fever is cured at home isolation no need hopitalization. I also tried in eimbursement mode but return same thing and rejected my Claim ID- 841907 again.

        Niva bupa Please do not to make fool of people in the name of health insurance policy and stop doing this fraud. I will not recommend this health insurance to any one.

          I have a policy of Niva Bupa formerly known as Max Bupa. I cancelled the auto debit for which I received confirmation that it has been canceled . Now even the auto debit took place inspite of it being cancelled after 14 days and now they are not refunding. Earlier they said refund is processed then are continuously asking for more time. I am fed up of chasing them daily multiple issue has been raised and the same reply I get the has been resolved but I haven’t received my refund yet.             The exevutive has misselled. the policy and got the claim rejected..and there is no one to hear about my complaint...staff is always ignoring calls

              Hi Team,

              I am having Health Companion Variant 2 policy with Niva Bupa formally known as Max Bupa from past 3 years for my parents.

              There is one minor surgery is going to happen on 03/03/2022 for my father in his hand in Manipal Hospital, Whitefield, I have contacted Niva Bupa for cashless claim but from morning to till evening I am struggling to get an approval in spite of providing all the required documents form my end & from Hospital. I have called Niva Bupa more than 7 time but always they are saying wait for 30 min you will get approval.

              If I won't get approval I have to pay more than 2 Lacs from my pocket even I have insurance & Manipal Hospital is failing under cashless network for Niva Bupa.

              I am reaching out your team to get a justification for this issue. I have attached my policy copy & medical prescription for your reference. Hope I will get positive response from your end.

                I had opted for Niva Bupa Health Insurance on 22nd January 2022.

                In spite of knowing all the health conditions health insurance was granted only to be cancelled after taking the entire amount (loan).

                The refund took 20 days to be initiated for transfer back to ICICI loan account. It will take additional 20 days for loan account closure.

                Who will bear the cost of EMI and Bank charges?

                Niva Bupa (formerly known as Max Bupa) needs to close the loan account at the earliest and any additional Bank charges.

                  I happen to purchase Niva Bupa Insurance personally last year. This year I was admitted to a hospital for Covid. I usually visit only 2 hospitals and I made sure that Niva Bupa had time up with both the hospital but ended up as a surprise that their association with the hospital has come to a pause.

                  I had to start my refund process the moment I was out. I was tormented by their process. Now, I have no clue as to why my claim has been rejected; I called to follow up with customer care and I get this info. No official mail as well so far.

                  They say they are all digital but none of their applications work. The image in reference is a document submitted to their application and after few days when I wanted to track claim, this is what we see.

                    Refund for double payment

                      I am really shocked that a well known firm like Niva Bupa doesn't know how to handle their customers. Guys at least have the courtesy to make a call and discuss the case with a customer. I just got an email from your end stating that it will be resolved by 9 feb. there is no call from the senior citizen redressal team. Where are senior management who are silent on this matter?

                      One thing is confirmed, that I made the biggest mistake of choosing you over other insurance companies. Hope to hear from you soon and request the senior authorities to look into this matter as you are the backbone and all depends on you.

                      2nd Email-
                      Hello Team,

                      I would like to reply to the response which I got on the reimbursement claim. This is the first time in my whole life I am experiencing this sort of situation. We do have insurance coverages from different companies but yours is exceptional seriously. I took this policy for my parents 3 years ago keeping in mind that you people will serve the best, but I don't think that you are in a mood to settle my claim. Kindly go through the below-mentioned concerned that are hitting my mind and revert accordingly-

                      Kindly provide Copy of Indoor case papers including the initial assessment sheet, doctors notes, nursing notes, daily Vital/ TPR/Spo2 chart duly certified by hospital authorities.
                      This is what I have been asked to submit

                      First of all, I made a call to the customer care to confirm which procedure is to be followed for the reimbursement, she simply told me that you need to submit a discharge summary, hospital bills, medical bills, prescription and lab report. I confirmed this twice and she said the same thing.
                      I fulfilled all the requirements for online claim submission, attached all the documents which I got from the hospital. Then also you people are requesting the documents which are only meant for hospital records. This is not the first time I am filing for reimbursement.
                      You people forgot to have a look at the Proposer's details, Let me remind you that my parents live in Delhi and I am from Uttar Pradesh. So, for your baseless requests I wouldn't be able to come to Delhi in this Covid scenario. You people didn't even think of the senior citizens how they will be able to settle their claim, do the needful for seniors citizens. Creating a specific department for them wont help them out. As the hospital won't provide these documents.
                      Just have a look at the list which you demanded, do we have any authority to get these kinds of hospital records?
                      At least, make a sensible request to the customer which can be fulfilled.

                      Previously also I faced so many issues, is it mandatory every time to raise a complaint to make life easier for my parents. Have some dignity to provide services to the customers who are genuinely paying you. Kindly do let me know how to get these documents as I am not at all aware about how to get the same from them.

                      If you people are not in a mood to settle the claim, do let me know I will surely find my way.

                        They have mentioned and I am quoting them "member did not disclose the medical history related to hepatomegaly in USG report hence the policy was issued basis the information was shared by policy holder at policy inception".

                        1. USG Report which they are talking about was done, funded, coordinated by Niva Bupa itself. (I have attached the email where I received this report from Niva Bupa Only and you can see it's page number 4)
                        2. My Policy Document shows this history as part of Pre-Existing Disease. ( I have attached my policies so that you can verify that Niva Bupa response is malafide and factually incorrect)

                          MaxBupa(Niva Bupa) is a big big fraud health insurance company.
                          Never ever go for it. I have been struggling for more than 2 months for refund of premium amount. My case is pretty simple. It takes just 1-2 days for refund of premium for any insurance company, while MaxBupa has taken 2.5 months, but still has not yet paid.
                          Trust me, more than financially you will be mentally harassed.
                          Forget about money, you will not even get any reply or response from this company.

                            Last year i ported my fathers 20 yr. old policy national insurance policy to max bupa. bt this year when i applied for cashless claim. firsst they rejected the claim and cancelled my policy.

                              I applied for a Health Insurance (ReAssure) in MaxBupa(Niva Bupa) on 19th Nov 2021. I did the payment. However, due to some reason I applied for cancellation on the same day.
                              I sent multiple mails to support team, there was no response. I sent multiple mails to Grievance team, they are useless. They did not resolve the issue.
                              Then I raised complain in IRDAI, after 14 days they said they would provide me refund. It has been more than two months, still I am struggling for my money.

                              There are other multiple tickets raised: 7377025 , 7348636, 7357456, 7379894, 7379896, 7407262 , 7379894
                              But there was no support, no response, no resolution from MaxBupa (Niva Bupa) Team.

                                      Hi,

                                      I would like to draw the attention of company towards very unprofessional behaviour by max bupa executive named waseem. (He didn't mention his employee id)

                                      I make a call from my registered number ([protected]) regarding how to file maternity claim for my health insurance policy ([protected]).

                                      He mentioned that policy does not cover maternity claim but as per policy, maternity claim is mentioned to be covered on page no 14 - clause 6.15.

                                      But he said that it is not covered and could not show in policy that maternity is not covered. Then he ask me to go to court. I ask many times about the place where it is excluded but he suggested every time to go to court).

                                      So i have to raise a complaint in national consumer forum with complaint number[protected]

                                      I also have call recordings of above conversation which i am ready to share with you if required.

                                      Hoping for an early resolution.

                                      (I also tried sending email to [protected]@maxbupa.com but the mailbox was full).
