We provide all claim reimbursement detail from last 6 month but as per there record they receive on 26 sept. 2020...we call lost of time but no proper reply from their side. Every time different customer care person came and different different talk.. But no proper reply. Claim amount is Approx 45000.the co. . Is fraud. They are not doing any communication with us . They commite in 30 days they resolve but still it's pending.. Pls help for the same... As resolve as soon as possible here I attach my call record list... N my policy

    Myself Jyotasana Apoorva, recently i consulted Dr JD Mukherji Mak Shopital saket, and after few tests he referred for urgent hospitalisation. after waiting for 4 days for bed availability Hospital Admission department denied my treatment because i'm having max bupa cashless health card which can cover upto 30 lakh of treatment cost.

    I'm Student and for this type of emergency i took health insurance. now even hospital is denying to admit and treat me with this health card.

    kindly suggest what to do ?

      Dear Max Bupa Team,

      Please look into this matter. We've been continuously following the Customer care representatives, and have spoken to CRs Hema, Danish, Ambreen, Sahil, Shalini. They behave so rudely, they disconnect my calls after making me wait for more than 15 minutes. And, then they do not pick my call. This is so disappointing, the CRs do not have common courtesy towards customers. There has been no update from your side. I'm looking forward to your reply as soon as possible.
      I request you to kindly approve the claim. The patient slipped from the staircase and had a fall injuring her back and in a lot of pain. Please do not make us wait any longer, as the patient requires urgent attention.

          No communication since 2 weeks regarding my claim

          I am really disappointed to mention that I have not received any valid response from MaxBupa regarding my claim for hospitalization reimbursement.

          The claim amount for my hospitalization expenses is around 1.4 lacs and I am actually covered for 7.8 lacs premium right now as per policy.

          Hello sir/madam

          This is raghavender from hyderabad. I have taken corona kavach policy from max bupa online on 21st july on my wife's name (Sreedevi). On the same day i raised a request for the name change (I gave post marriage surname and her proofs had before marriage surname). I even reached out to their call center for the update and was informed that it would take about 4-5 working days but name will be changed for sure.

          Policy had a waiting period of 15 days which was supposed to end on 5th august. On 5th august i received a call from their executive stating that name change is not possible and instead he asked me to cancel the policy and retake the policy. I asked him why they took such a long time and i have been informed on the day of where my policy is getting enforced/starting. He had no concrete answer and said they were busy. Executive ensured me that i will receive an acknowledgment with regards to policy cancellation immediately on my mobile and email which did not happen. I reached out to their service center and asked them regarding the acknowledgement and status. I was given the service ticket number "4906976" and was assured that i will soon receive the policy cancellation email and will get my refund in 5-6 working days. Even after that i did not receive neither mail or any other sort of communication from them. On 7th july when i again reached out to them quoting the above service request number i was informed that no such service ticket exists. They closed it as issue is resolved. Their grievance authorities are also lousy and not bothered when i mailed them

          I called them up today and spoke to the executive and i was informed that there is no such ticket. I insisted that i was given this service ticket number and later she said she found the ticket and she put me on hold to check the status. I was on hold endlessly and was not given any response. I called them several times later and i was put on hold and not provided any response.

          Sir, firstly they took more than 15 days to inform me that my request for name change cannot be honored and i lost the waiting period and secondly there is no communication on the cancellation. I was informed on the phone that my cancellation of policy is work in progress but expected some sort of acknowledgement.in the below chain mail you can see that i did mark their grievance team and but as usual no response

          I request you to please look into matter and help me to get my money back. Their call center executives cut the call by putting the customers on hold for ever

            Max bupa is company which takes its customer for granted, regret to be associated which such a third grade company which does not provide service but also tortures its customer when they want help and assistance the most. My brother ported his policy to max bupa ([protected]) as per his insurance advisor and trusted him he moved from apollo munich which was taken over by hdfc ergo to max bupa.in the month of june he was hospitalized and his cashless claim was rejected on grounds of investigation. The insurance agent told that we can pay the amount and claim it afterwards which was okay for us. So on 22nd july the insurance agent sent all the required documents over mail as there was no response he called and checked with the max bupa team it was informed to him that they had not received the mail and asked him to resend the mail. So on 29th july he again sent the mail to max bupa team, again there was no response from max bupa we decided to call and enquire about the claim status. When we got in touch with the representative he informed that they had not received the email and asked us to resend the documents again. At this point of time i decided that this company is taking its customers for a ride and as asked the call to be escalated to the supervisor so after placing us on long hold for around 20 mins finally mr chandan came and spoke to us. We asked him about the claim status and the e mails which were sent earlier to max bupa, he informed and acknowledged that he has received the two mails but was not sure why there was no action taken on it. He informed us that there were three attachments and one attachment was missing. The insurance agent forwarded the mail again to max bupa and also to me. Myself checked and found out that all the necessary documents were all in place and attached in the first mail itself. Mr chandan informed us that the claim was mailed from the customers email hence it was not responded, myself was in shock and asked the supervisor that max bupa expects its ailing customer to mail all the details even if they are sick and not in position to send the details and why cannot the insurance agent send the documents on the patients behalf. What sadistic pleasure max bupa gets in torturing its customers, we have invested our hard earned money and when the customer needs the company's support the company is giving below par services more over getting in touch via mail and phone is a punishment in these trying times. The company does not bother if the patient is dying or living but expects them to send the claim details from the patients id only, also we found out that the company had received the mails but did not bother to check and respond to the mails. I request all to think multiple times while choosing max bupa which gives false promises and makes tall claims but in reality just wants its customer to pay for the policy premium but not settle the claim. Also taking this issue to consumer forums and consumer court as i have lost hope with this third class company. Instead on wasting money on advertisements and making false claims max bupa should improve their infrastructure and settle their claims in a timely manner. Once again request all to think twice before buying a policy or porting their existing policy to max bupa.

I m renewed my policy on 1 june 2020 after confirmation maxbhuppa executive and she is guide me every thing step by step and done payment and said ur policy will come 2nd of june. But not came. I called to max bupa. Customer care executive many time they said plz send confirmation ur not admited in hospital in this period, i m send many time, they said plz wait 2/3 days every time i m waited 17 days but yesterday they said we can’t renew ur policy and we give it paymnt. Plz resolved my problem, u can also leassion ur executive ang my conversation on 1st june 2020 regarding renew policy, i m asked her clearly can i renew? She told me yes u can, and she guide me step by step for do paymnt,
                  Plz resolve my problem n renew my policy in this. Covid 19 crises.

                    My Self Mazhar Pasha Bought Max Bupa Health Insurance Policy Through policy baazar On date 17/5/2019 after Doing all Medical Examination they Issued a Policy on 25/5/2019

                    After One Year Passed I have to Renew my Policy I thought to Increase my Sum assured from 7, 50, 000 to 12, 50, 000 as of which I have made a payment after some days i got a call from Max Bupa Company for Verification after that I got a mail stating my policy Has been Rejected

                    Now the Company has not renewing my Policy with Old sum assured nor with Increase sum assured they are telling my Policy has been Rejected

                    After all Medical Examination they have issued policy and suddenly after One year they are rejecting my policy, they are not ready to renew my policy again
                    As of which I have been lost one year Premium and One year waiting period for my pre existing illness,

                    I am Continuously making a complaint in customer care with complaint no 4578357

                    I Kindly request you to resolve my Issue and renew my policy continuously with old sum assured only,

                    Hi, Normally no insurer will reject/deny renewal of policy & also increase in sum, but increased sum will attract usual terms & conditions with wt periods. Further as stated in the renew there is still grace period of 30 days from 25/5/20. They (insurer) has to give specific reason for rejection of policy in writing, however insurer has right to reject or accept increase in sum assured but not entire policy. The reason may be if any claim is paid for series disease in previous period, otherwise no need for rejection. Since there is a grace period 30 days from 25/5/20 you may insist insurer to renew the policy. For cancellation of existing policy 30 days notice is required with specific reason writing, if there is no reply from insurer pl.approach insurance ombudsman to retain/renew the policy.

                        My medical insurance, policy # [protected] was issued on 31 dec 2019 through policy bazaar, i have forgot to disclose my wife's surgery (Hysterectomy) which was happened in 15 july 2019, which has been highlighted by insurance company immediately after issuance, i have submitted the discharge summary on very next day i. E. 1st jan 2020, additional documents sent across on 9th jan 2020. I guess, the policy has free lookup period of 30 days from the issuance, max bupa has cancelled my policy on 18th feb 2020 and informed that refund is processed that too 50% of my first year's premium.
                        Now two things to be reviewed here.

                        Why maxbupa took so long time to review the document and cancel the policy? It would have been done during free look up period and associated.

                        The policy is cancelled on 18th feb 2020, not a single penny refund has been received till today i. E.. 26th april (68 days). I paid this amount using credit card, and interest is applicable, how come maxbupa can compensate the same.

                        My request for consideration.

                        Since the policy cancellation has been delayed by maxbupa why i need to give away 50% of my premium. So request my 100% refund.

                        Currently my policy is cancelled on 18th of feb 2020, the money is not refunded yet, so need the compensation for the delayed refund.

                          Myself gajapathy chakaravarthy holding a max bupa heart beat gold policy from 2017. Every year the premium is being increased and they are mandatorily forcing us to purchase the add on like 10% increase in sum assured. Even if we scream that we don't need any ad on but they are saying its as per irda we need to purchase those ad ons. My annual premium details are as below:

                          Just now, called to their customer care and spoke with them for more than 30 mins and also to their senior mr. Bilal ahmed (Mobile no: [protected]) i have clearly told them and requested them due to this lock down situation i can't pay more premium i don't want any ad on benefits. But, mr. Ahmed is forcing me that if i don't pay rs. 71075 then the sum insured will be reduced. If i pay the same 51125 premium then the sum insured will be reduced from 65 lakhs to 30 lakhs. Due to medical inflation and as per irda inclusion of treatment for mental disorder and hiv my earlier product has been revised from version 4 to version 5. Hence we need to mandatorily upgrade to version 5 hence there is increase in premium. There is no choice to avail my existing product. This is how they increase the premium and loot money by arm twisting the customers. I need justice in this case. Please help! My mobile number: [protected]. [protected]@gmail.com

                            I brought the max bupa health insurance policy 3 months back of rs 5 lacs for my parents. They recently got admitted due to dengue fever and we raised reimbursement claims for both.

                            They rejected both claims stating a foolish reason -
                            This is with reference to your e-mail appended below, we would like to inform you that your claim numbers 501904 and 501909 have been reviewed by our basis the documents shared by you we have observed that the pathological investigation verified by lab technician instead of md pathologist, which does not qualifies as an valid pathological test to carry on any treatment based on the findings of the same. Hence, we regret to inform you that we will maintain our earlier decision to decline the mentioned claim as per policy terms & conditions clause no. 6.30.

                            We followed our doctor and get the tests done and now max bupa is saying that the claims are not valid stating above reason. How a patient knows the degree of a laboratory owner or who is doing the tests?

                                At the time of the discussion he and his seniors have told me that there will be no additional fees to be paid even in case of existing disease and there will be no loading fees

                                The vice call had been also recorded as well

                                But once i had purchased the policy they started harassessing me by not making any calls to me for asking the next steps and then they send me mails like submit the test reports and submit the money for additional pre-existing disease

                                Even in the last 3 days, they have never sent me any policy and also taken my full amount of 25k inr without any reason.

                                Instead, i have been following them and feel cheated by them for asking me to spend my own money on my test to submit the reports and now they are asking more money from me.

                                How worst the max bupa insurance company is? They have cheated me by saying that they will issue the policy in 24 to 48 hours and also don't need to give more premium than 25k that had covered all the pre-existing diseases

                                Anyhow, i need my money back from them as the policy had been never issued to me and i am no more interested in the policy.

                                I need my money of 25k with 11% interest back asap

                                Max Bupa people have been Simply Beggars, they sell policies on fake commitments

                                For selling the Policies they call on your number 10000 times

                                I need my money back and not interested in any Poicy of Max Bupa
                                They are beggars who keep begging money from me

                                As today I have been waiting for the Max representative's statement as the mail attached above send by them.
                                My final decision as told to them yesterday also not interested in the Policy

                                They are beggars who had eaten my Money without issuing any Policy in the last 6 days and also they try to proceed this to at least 15 days so they cant get the option to not refund there Policy

                                Any way I will proceed for the necessary action against these Beggars now and need my Money with 11% interest still the time they hold my money

                                I have been come in contact with MaxBupa Insurance Agent as on 26th Nov 2019 and they had asked me for 25K INR for the Healthcare Policy
                                with false promises as per the detailed below :

                                1) During the telephonic conversation, I have asked them 2 times that whether for the existing diseases there will be any Loading amount or not
                                and there Executive told me that NO - 2 times, the Agent had told this word.
                                I have kept them asking that myself and my Wife had diabetes but we want the Policy with no Loading amount and they keep saying that there is no Loading amount

                                But the next day (27th Nov 2019) they asked me to submit the test report for the existing disease and then very next day on 28th Nov 2019, they asked me via Email to submit them the following amount then only they will give the Policy
                                Detail as follows :
                                Name : SADHANA SAXENA
                                Pre Existing Disease :Diabetes mellitus
                                Loading applicable :1499

                                Name :Sankalp Saxena
                                Pre Existing Disease :Diabetes mellitus
                                Loading applicable :1792

                                On the very next day that is on 28th Nov, I start them following as I don't want to get Bluffed from there Fake Commitments to sell there Healthcare Policy via Twitter and other Social channels and based on that their representative called Mohit Gairola replied me with the Email with following words on 29th Nov 2019:


                                · We would like to advise you that we have done necessary verifications at our end and we have not observed any discrepancy in the sales process followed while sourcing and processing the said policy.



                                · We have already shared your concern regarding cancellation of the application number 3557392 to the respective department and you will receive the refund within 7 working days via same mode through which we have receive the premium.



                                Further, we would like to inform you that we are also arranging to dispatch the CD of call recordings related to you application to your registered communication address with us.

                                Now it had been almost more than 11+ days that I had never received my Money and I had also shared my address to send me the Recording of the CD for the conversation by there Agents, It had never been sent to me as well. Instead, they keep calling me and asking me that If they remove the Loading amount then should I but there Policy or not.

                                They keep Harassment to me dozen of times and they had eaten my Money of 25K INR on what pretext, As it had been told in written to them that I have been not interested in there Policy and the amount will be refunded then why it takes more than 11+ days now (8+ working days)

                                What happens to my Family during this period?? Who will take responsibility ?? If anything happens to me that where should I go without the Policy ???
                                They have eaten my money just like Beggars and they make me motile that I cannot go anywhere to buy another Policy as they taken my Amount and not releasing it

                                Please look into this matter at the earliest and take immediate action again them with the following details of there contact persons :

                                  Very bad experience with max bupa. We have 3 family policy with maxbupa. One for my mother and father. One for my brother, his wife and kid. One for myself, wife and kid. We are continuing the policy for the last 3 years. My parents policy is also 3rd year but there was a renewal gap of 2 months after 1st year. We bought it through federal bank and without any second thought we trusted it. Now when my mother got hospitalized in the month of july 19 they have rejected cashless first. Also when we contacted the customer care we received a very bad response even when the family members are in difficult situation. They did a direct verification at hospital after surgery and told that will reimburse immediately. After the surgery its been almost 5 months still they haven't given the reimbursement. Every month we had to submit some certificate of doctors and still in pending status. Every month spending time and money for getting the docs from hospital and calling the customer care.
                                  Max Bupa customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Unfortunately they are not addressing the issue and delaying the claim without any proper justification.

                                    Address: House no 207; Block-C. Railway Road, Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Punjab, 141120

                                    First they calculated my premium as rs. 12143/- and sent the same to me via email. After i bought the policy i was told that i have to pay rs. 1200+ more. I asked them to cancel the policy as they can ask any amount they want to for the same year (In my case) or more probably next year. They said i will get my refund on 7th day. But today's it's 9th day (End of 7th working day) and their is not information about refund. I called the one from whom i got calls after i visited the websire to buy this policy. But his attitude was very negative this time.

                                    Is their any law by which we can teach lessons to such fraudulent companies??

                                      I lost my husband on this year when i proceed to claim my money they are first decline it and then i sent all the documents and reports doctor fees oc charge but they are not giving me my claim. I am completely hopeless now.

                                      They are playing again and again by telling send documents and send documents.

                                      Govt should stop to make this kind of fraud company in india.
