This is to bring to your notice the irresponsible and unethical conduct of the FINANCE team of Max Hospital Saket and how they are harassing and cheating customers.
My mother Archana Agarwal, age 69 years, Max Id : 1039622, was admitted in Max hospital Saket, on 4th March 2024, where she underwent surgery for Breast carcinoma, under Dr Harit Chaturvedi/Dr Aditi Chaturvedi. ( We are very happy with the doctor and his team). She was discharged on 5th March 2024.
Our claim no is : MDI8408702
The bill amount raised was Rs 2.34Lakhs approx
Of this
- TPA approved Rs 2.27 lakhs approx
- Advance given: Rs 55, 000
Total collected from us: Rs 2.83 lakhs
Despite explaining this simple maths to your Finance team for 5 hours, they blatantly refused to explain why they are collecting Rs xx versus the bill amount.
Are they so ignorant so as not to be able to do this simple maths or is it a way to cheat customers?
1) Why were we charged ~ Rs 50, 000/- more than the bill amount
2) Why was only Rsxxx reimbursed to us versus the correct amount of Rsxx.
Extremely disappointed by the harassment meted out to us. My Mom had to wait for 5 extra hours and got discharged late at night 10:30 pm because of the harassment by the Finance team. Totally unwarranted for a senior citizen who has just undergone a major surgery!!
totally unacceptable. Your Finance team should help customers and not harass customers.
Kindly refund the excess amount charged.
