Dear Consumer Complaint Authority,
I am writing to formally escalate an issue regarding unprofessional behavior, service denial, and lack of communication at Max Healthcare Lab Center, Noida Sector 19.
My name is Rohit Dheervan, and I visited the lab center on Saturday, 8th February 2025 for a corporate health checkup. The tests were completed the same day, and I was given an appointment for a doctor consultation on 12th February at 12:30 PM.
However, upon reaching the facility after traveling for an hour, I was informed by the reception staff, Ms. Menakshi, that the doctor was not available. I was not informed about this in advance, which caused me significant inconvenience and distress. When I inquired why prior intimation was not given, she rudely responded that she had many patients to handle and had forgotten to inform me.
Instead of providing an appropriate solution, she casually advised a video consultation, which was neither prearranged nor formally communicated. When I further questioned the lack of communication, she refused to take responsibility and stated that she would not call for doctor consultations, despite Max Healthcare proactively calling patients for lab tests. This unprofessional and dismissive behavior raises serious concerns about patient care and service standards.
My concerns and requests for resolution:
Strict action should be taken against the concerned staff for misbehavior and failure in patient communication.
Immediate clarification on my doctor consultation appointment, as I require urgent medical attention for cholesterol and liver problems.
Improvement in patient communication and service management to prevent such issues for other patients.
If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will be forced to escalate it further through higher management, social media, and other consumer grievance channels. I have attached my test reports for reference.
I expect a prompt response with a resolution timeline.
