    Sir/ madan
Most humbly i want to state that i am working in medical oncology daycare in max patparganj as a clinical associate. I park my car in the adjacent parking area of max. On 28th september 2019. I went to take my car from parking area at 8:00pm. I saw 3 guys drinking alcohol. Considering their grave intentions i stepped fast but one man came near me and identified myself as a doctor as if he knew me and he was one of the parking attendants. But i had never seen him before so i didn't talk to him. As i opened my car he came from behind and snatched my gold chain. However i ignored everything and entered my car. Then that man started asking for money and wanted to talk more. I then drove fast and reached near amit in 10 secs. I asked amit (A parking attendant) about the three guys but he told that nobody was seen behind. I reached the main gate and asked tiwary (Parking attendant) about the guys and he told he was a parking attendant who works on the other gate. I told him that i would meet them coming morning. For quite somedays i couldn't find both the attendants.in between i noticed my gold chain missing and kept searching it at my home. After 10-12 days again i saw tiwary and amit in the parking. I asked amit about the 3guys. He told me that he was being accused for asking me for money, he was beaten that night and could lose his job because of my complaint. I told them to show me the cctv footage of that night. Then they told me that they don't keep footages after 10 days. I threatened then about police complaint. Next day amit left the place for a long vacation of 1-2 months. I gave my complaint in police and max security centre but they didn't accept my complaint.
I lost my chain worth about 1lac but i could lose my life that night. The offenders are still unidentified and their helper guy has already disappeared.
One of my co-workers was stabbed recently near the hospital gate. I was victimised by the security staff and lack of proper arrangements in the parking. I am expecting the compensation of at least 1 lac rupees today. I will go to court and media if my request is not considered.
    Thanks!

Most people say that hospitals in india are into a vicious money making business and have lost the human touch, and that’s true. I had a first-hand experience this month of how doctors and the hospitals are only interested in extracting money and taking advantage. Once they gauge that the patient’s family can afford the expensive treatments, they start exploiting the patient’s and family members’ emotions and degrade their health conditions to benefit themselves.

One expects honesty and decency from the doctors, but these so-called life saviors are only interested in making money for the business and pocket their share. These two doctors, dr. Puneet aggarwal and dr. Bipin swarn walia are an example of why the public is losing their faith in doctors and their vicious system. These pretentious doctors are like parasites that feed on your emotions and vulnerability and you don’t realize until it’s too late.

Being admitted into a hospital, the patient expects the treatment to benefit them and improve their health steadily. But it seems that was not happening in this case and walking out of that hospital was the best choice i made even though it could not help me and my family despite the huge amount we spent on the treatment.

There was no transparency and humanity at all, all i could see and understand was the advice-cum-sales pitch being given by doctors. I hope nobody has to go through this ever, it’s so wrong ethically.

This whole episode has been an emotionally and financially exhausting for me and my family.

        Toms. Rajyashree sengupta,
        Maxhospital
        Dear ms. Sengupta,
my husband satyabrata pal, aged 70 years died on 24th september 2019, early morning, at the icu ward of max hospital, patparganj.  it has been very very painful for me torecount what happened prior to his death which is why i am writing now, almost a month after his death,  even though the pain has not gone away, may never do away.   he was first admitted this year toyour hospital on 13.9.2019, on the advice of dr. Rajesh gupta, neurological consultant at max patparganj, whom we had consulted on the 12th of september.  he hadsuggested immediate admission so we came to max the next day.   as my husband retired as high commissioner topakistan, a job on par with that of a secretary in new delhi, he was entitled to a private room under the cghs scheme.
When i took my husband to the emergency section of maxhospital the next day, my husband was admitted to the hospital and i filled inthe registration forms after waiting for over an hour. However in the evening, i was advised by preethi who described herself as relationship manager, thatthey could not accommodate him in max. I went to the section where rooms areallotted and got no joy there either. Preethi told me that she had made arrangements to accommodate him in jain hospital in anand vihar. She said that she knew the place well and that max had links with jain hospital, and that they would be able to do the dsa test advised by dr. Gupta. Preethi laid out the max ambulance and we were driven to jain hospital. On reaching the hospital, i was welcomed by a huge garbage container near the reception counter. I was appalled by the lack ofcleanliness in the room we were given and changed to another room. Here too thebathroom was not clean, with dirt in the grout, and filthy floors. Plus the air conditioner did not work.in short, theplace was shambolic, nothing like the picture that we had been given bypreethi. The travel to jain hospital had a detrimental effect on my husband andwe found that he could no longer urinate. My husband was given a grimy, filthy, rusty wheelchair with a hole in the middle, under which a dirty waste paper basket was placed to pee. I tried to clean it as best i could but must confessthat years of grime cannot be removed that easily. So i did not seat him on that. hospital staff, cleaners and nurses tried to lift him up and take him to the bathroom to urinate but it was not possible. The attending doctor was clueless.

Thoroughly dissatisfied with the services provided, i reached out to people who could facilitate his return to max so that he could be operated, the very next day. This is not something my husband or i would ever do, nor have ever done in his long career, but these were extraordinary circumstances and so i did. This time,  max vaishali and max patparganj both offered to take him but i chose the patparganj hospital because that was where his doctor and surgeon were. So we returned to max hospital patparganj on the 15th of september, after having spent one and a half days at jain hospital. Three years ago my husband had been hit by a cow and been successfully operated on by dr. Sanjeev dua, the neurosurgeon at maxhospital, patparganj.  about two yearsago, he advised me to consult dr. Rajesh gupta who has been able to bring about great changes in his condition. He was even doing the most difficult sudoku, in under 9 minutes, and he waswalking and even talking. His long term memory had returned and his short termmemory was returning, though not yet perfect. And except for the tumour of blood vessels which had created problems where his mobility was concerned, he was in really good health.  this time on the staff filled in the requisite forms and i only had to sign it at the end. We moved him to the private room that had been provided, but by then the damage had been done. He was diagnosed with chest congestion which did not respond to the antibiotics given and he died in the icu ward on the 24th. He did not live to get his tumour removed.
when he was brought into max the firsttime, he had no infection and i can only imagine that hecaught this infection at jain hospital or at max. I would like to know 1)    why was my husband farmed out to jainhospital when he had already been registered in max?   is this because he was a cghs patient? Don’tall patients need the same care and consideration? Why should i have to speakto the powers that be to get the medical aid that my husband was entitled to? The person who facilitated his return to max asked me if i was willing to pay the going rate to the hospital, instead of the cghs facility, which was very telling. What it told me was that if i paid more, he would stand a greater chance to get a room. It did not come to that, however. 2)    why was jain hospital not checked out for cleanliness and efficiency before being recommended to me? I had been assured about its cleanliness and efficiency by preethi but after visiting it, i am sure she had not checked it out. It is callousness of the highest degree that we were fobbed off to a sub standard facility. It would have been much better if we had been asked to take him home. He would have been alive today. 3)    why is it that when patients are taken to places where the dsa test and such like are done, they are not given masks to wear as they have to pass through areas where there are patients sitting waiting for their turn at the opd?
        4)    whywas the antibiotic not changed as soon as possible when it was found to have no effect? I know the sputum test results had not come in, but more aggressive treatments are called for when the situation is dire as his indeed was.  i am no medical doctor, but i consulted a very good one, who suggested an immediate change in antibiotics, but it was either not done, or done too late.  even simple steps like using steam and nebulizer were not done. They could have saved his life, and i would not have been widowed, living alone, as i am today.in other words, my husband died of a hospital induced infection and  i have to live without him because your staff was found wanting. I caught the same infection from him and as i am asthmatic, it took me 20 days to recover, but i recovered because i was not in your hospital. Please do something to save other patients from the same problems. Every patient is not just a patient, but someone’s father, husband or partner. It pains me to revisit all this, but i am doing so to ensure that others do not have to suffer like this. Please let me know what you have to say to all this. And for me, i will have to live with the fact that i will have to lead the restof my life alone. Without the outstandingly brilliant, compassionate man that my husband was.
        Yours sincerely, shreedevi nair pal

I am writing this email to apprise you of my horrible experience at max healthcare saket. My mother went through the pacemaker (Crtd) surgery 6 months back in cath lab cardiology department under doctor vinita arora. We informed the concerned individuals regarding the allergic history to lidocaine drug.

          Patient details:
          Name: saranjeet kaur
          Max id: skdd.764902

          1. Initial procedure (April 2019): while doing the allergy test, the concerned nurse gave the test dose intra venous instead of intra dermally. Due to which she developed anaphylactic reaction which is a life threatening condition.

          2. After approximately 5 months, one of the lead of crtd devise got displaced and patient started getting shocks at wrong place in thorax. When we consulted the cardiologist dr. Vinita arora at max healthcare, she told that the patient would have to undergo the procedure again. Her assistant rahul gave us the estimate of approximately rs. 49000 to which we agreed.

          3. Due to all these health issues and procedures, the patient went through physical pain, mental and financial stress.

          4. At the time of discharge, we were given a bill that was double the amount of estimated bill which is approximately inr 91, 000. I believe that this procedure should have been cost free as we already paid approximately 12 lakh during the initial procedure. However, we agreed to pay approximately inr 49000 because the patient was getting repeated shocks in her diaphragm.

          5. This is not the first time there was mismatch in the final bill and the estimate. 6 months back, we paid approximately inr 50000 more than the estimated amount which was approximately rs. 11, 50, 000. At the time, we gave up the fight and paid the bill but this time we are not going to do the same.

I would need your help to understand the following:

          1. Why is there extreme variation in estimate bills and final bills when the patient conditions are clearly stated before admission.
          2. If there is an issue with surgery, should hospital not bear the cost of re-performing the procedures. Is 12 lakh not sufficient amount for crtd device? Are we supposed to pay every 2-3 months if issue comes up? Isn’t it hospitals responsibility?
          3. What about the mental, physical and financial stress the patient and the family has to go through?
          4. Why are there no medical superintendent in hospitals during the discharge process?

          Would need your help immediately.

          Thanks and regards,

10 august 2019 around 5.30am im am waiting for our boss in the emergency room, who is being food poisoned the day before. While waiting him inside the room i was sitting in a coustomer chair with some other coustomer. But unfortunately 1 security came to me and told me to go out and stay outside, and i reply him for what reason i need to go out and the answer was preety weird, he told me that patience need to sit in the chair where i was sitting. And the more amazing thing is that he didnt ask any other people beside me to go out or stay outside but by looking my face as im from nort east he directly asked me to go out. Its really disappointing and really bad thing im hoping that this kind of thing will not happen anymore in future

Dr. Poonam gupta (Gyne at max hospital and genesis) is worst doctor i have ever met. She is too rude. She dont know how to treat her patients, how to communicate. I still not able to believe how a doctor could be so rude and heartless. She dont even care about patient's health and gave them only mental stress. She don't even listen you and think that you are stupid and she knows everything. I think she just make assumptions about patient problems and start the treatment without realizing the side effects. The reality is she don't know anything. I regret the day i started my treatment and blindly trust her. Request max hospital to throw out poonam gupta from max. Also request to all people reading this message don't consult dr. Poonam gupta. She is providing worst services at max patparganj and her own clinic genesis.
