Not providing Superintendent Stamp on Apology Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had really a bad experience with wockhardt hospital (Mira Road) as my Mediclaim was rejected due to their sloppy work. They also gave me a apology letter for the misconduct which happened but are not providing superintendant stamp on apology letter for the same. Care Health Insurance company have a strict rule as for Genuity of apology letter, the document must be stamped by a Medical Superintendant of hospital,...

At 11:45 in the night, the guard on duty at the emergency gate used foul language, used abusive language, behaved inappropriately and when talked to, was told to do whatever you can.The hospital is good, the behavior of the doctors is good, the behavior of the nurses is also good but this kind of misbehavior done by the guards is not inauspicious. If similar behavior happens in Book Card Hospital then I will never advise anyone to come here. We bring our patients here for treatment and not for picnic, Everyone is worried, everyone is worried and God forbid such behavior on such an occasion is not good for the hospital . but I strongly condemn this behavior of the guard

      Hi Team,

      I Hariram Ramnaval Yadav UHID no : WHS[protected] have done a PFT test on 9th of Nov 2023, report is not yet ready. I called multiple times different people are giving different resons like one is saying why did not you show to Dr. Sonam Solanki one is saying Dr is not available to sign the report I went there to do test by taking prior appointment of 10 am for 9th Nov, they made me wait till 12 pm to take test and then I waited whole day till 6pm to get report but they did not give ans if doctors were not available they could have informed me before on day of booking appointment. What if patient is serious how they are going to handle. Being hospital there will be obviously some alternative doctor available. Hospital have huge responsibility

        Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Ill-Treatment and Negligence at Wockhardt Hospital

        To Whom It May Concern,

        I am writing this letter to bring to your immediate attention the shocking ill-treatment and negligence that my mother, Mrs. Tara Ashok Thorat, has endured at Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central. As concerned family members, we are appalled by the appalling behavior and blatant disregard for patient welfare demonstrated by the administrative team of the hospital.

        My mother has been suffering from heart and throat issues, and after careful consideration, we decided to seek medical treatment at Wockhardt Hospital due to its status as a paneled hospital for my father's company, BHEL. Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

        Upon our arrival at the hospital, we were advised by the medical team that my mother required an angiography procedure and throat surgery. Accordingly, we admitted her on August 16, 2023, in anticipation of receiving the necessary care. BHEL had an established agreement with Wockhardt Hospital, wherein the special rate for bed charges in a Triple Sharing room was set at Rs. 1700/-.

        However, the events that followed were nothing less than a travesty. The admission staff at the hospital exhibited a shocking level of arrogance and lack of professionalism. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and demonstrated a lack of basic courtesy and empathy towards patients and their families. It is evident that the staff is in dire need of education in terms of proper behavior and patient interaction.

        To our dismay, the admission staff admitted my mother to a general ward instead of the Triple Sharing room we were entitled to, all the while offering excuses about the non-availability of beds. This decision was made without our consent or even prior intimation. Despite our numerous follow-ups with both the admission counter staff and their manager, we found ourselves in a seemingly endless loop o[censored]nfulfilled promises and stalling tactics.

        On August 18, 2023, my mother successfully underwent the prescribed procedures and surgery. The medical team responsible for her care displayed exceptional professionalism, competence, and compassion. Their dedication to patient well-being was evident throughout the process, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment to healthcare.

        Regrettably, the same cannot be said for the administrative staff at Wockhardt Hospital. Their arrogance and negligence are alarming, and it is painfully clear that their primary concern is monetary gain. Despite charging exorbitant fees for their services, they continue to exhibit a lack of commitment to patient safety and well-being.

        It has come to our attention that Wockhardt Hospital proudly holds accreditation from the Joint Commission International, USA, for Healthcare Quality and Performance in Patient Care. Additionally, the hospital was ranked as the Best Brand 2022 by The Economics Times. While these accolades may speak to the hospital's reputation, our experience casts serious doubt on the validity of these awards in the context of patient care.

        We urgently request that the higher authorities at Wockhardt Hospitals, JCI, NABH, and The Economics Times take immediate action to address this matter. The negligence, ill-treatment, and money-oriented mindset exhibited by the administrative staff must not go unchecked. It is imperative that the hospital's awards, recognitions, and accreditations are reevaluated in light of these distressing revelations.

        We implore you to take swift action to rectify the situation and ensure that Wockhardt Hospital lives up to the standards of care, compassion, and ethics that the medical profession demands. Patients should not be subjected to such treatment in what is supposed to be a noble and caring environment.

          Am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the way my mother, Shaphiyabi Kazi, has been treated during her recent hospital admission. My mother was admitted to the hospital on April 5th, 2023, and since then, the staff has been checking on her regularly.

          However, today, on April 7th, the doctor came to my mother's room around 12 pm and informed her that she would be discharged. The nurse collected all the IV medicines as per the discharge rules, but it's been three hours since then, and there has been no progress in the discharge process. My mother is still in her admission room, in extreme pain due to the distal radius fracture surgery she underwent.

          I requested the nurse to provide painkillers through IV, but she refused, stating that my mother was already discharged, and no further medication could be given. I believe this is unacceptable, as all equipment and IV medicines should be kept until the patient is out of the hospital.

          I am deeply disappointed with the lack of attention and care that my mother has received, especially after the doctor indicated that she would be discharged. I urge you to investigate this matter and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.

          I would appreciate it if you could take immediate action to ensure that my mother's discharge process is completed promptly and that she is treated with the utmost care and respect.

            Hi,

            Your sister staff ( ICU as well as in general ward) is very rude and unprofessional and seems they are trainee. They are not doing there duty with responsibilities . On complaining why 10 clock medicine not given even after 11 clock they says you are not alone patient we are looking after this justification is not acceptable. Also housekeeping is hopeless.

              I Ms.Poonam Yagnik daughter of Late Prakash Prabhakar More. My father Mr.Prakash More age 64yrs passed away on 11th May 2021 during COVID time because of septic shock, Acute Kidney Injury. He was recovered from Covid but not survived due to post covid side effects. I would like to request you that the hospital bill had become much higher than we thought but somehow we managed to pay 90% of the bill amount.

              I want to share that my father was hospitalized for one month. Total bill was Rs.12, 82, 516/- which we had almost paid. At present there is a due of Rs.1, 40, 661/-. My father was retired and did not have any income. The bill which we paid we had to borrow from our relatives and friends. My younger sister (Ms.Vaishali More) was an employee of your esteemed organisation. She was associated with Wockhardt hospital Mira Road as a Sr.Lab Technician. She had to resign in Jan-2023 due to the Health issues and further treatment. I would like to bring to your attention that because of the due amount my sister had not given the Full and final settlement. At present she is facing many financial issues for her treatment. Many times she had discussion with the HR staff and with the management but nothing fruitful solution has come. My sister and I were already exhausted with the money during my fathers hospitalisation and took a server loan for hospital bill payment. We are still paying back to the reatives. It's a humble request to the management people to waive off the bill and settle the FNF of my sister as she is really in trouble and under depression.
              I hope you will consider my request genuine and help me out in this difficult time. I will be grateful and in return.

                Hospital is not in service and patient caring, in ICU and as well as in general wards regards money and charging money super fast in that very excellent. This is the 2 time in hospital. Hospital is only for money and in taking care of patients and care

                Staffs are useless and housekeeping also.

                I recommend people not to go there only waste of money

                  Our patient was advised to be admited on 1st jan 2023 and surgerywas planed for 2nd jan 2023 our claim was rejected without considering anything they asked us to oay 80% on admission as surgery was planned the next day. They have still delayed the surgery for next 2days stating payment was not updated and now that ot is not available. And the charges are being incured on us they say will do some adjustment but at eod we need near those charges and there is no response from faculty during admission every run behind you and now no one to answer the quetions or solve the query.

                    Hi my name is Sukendu Kumar, working at State Bank Of India. I am staying at Mira Road with my mother, Ranjita Panda. She was unable to smell anything and felt etching in both ear and nose Every single day.

                    I and my wife had visited for health check up at Wockhart hospital Nagpur north ambazari rd on 08.10.2022. My wife told that her MC delayed by 5 days but doctor only confirmed pregnancy by doing sonography and they informed that there is no pregnancy and informed possibility of polycrystalline overy disease and done xray and TMT . Also gynecologist madam advice to take tablet for regular Mc.
                    We checked the prganancy at home through pregnancy kit on 16.10.2022 and found positive.
                    Now we have very shocked that how the doctors are taking this very lighlty. Doctors are responsible, If there is harmful for next days to my wife during this pregnancy period.
                    Xray and sonography has been done by Dr.Nayeem Ahmed Khan and not proper advised during health check up .even they don't have to time to talk with health check patient.

                      I am a 76 years old Senior Citizen and was treated for COVID at the Mumbai Central location of Wockhardt hospital for 10 days in January 2022 in the General Ward (Non-ICU).

                      The Hospital has charged highly excessively, in violation of the norms fixed by the Government. As a result, the National Insurance company has disallowed such charges to the extent of ~ Rs. 72000 out of the total bill amount of ~ Rs. 2 lacs.

                      Typical charges are as follows :-

                      Covid PPE charges ...Rs.3464 per day as against Rs. 600 fixed by the Govt for the General Ward. And no working or computation has been provided by the Hospital for the above.
                      Clinical facilitation safety...Rs 750 per day
                      Hygiene for infectious diseases ...Rs. 750 per day
                      Infective waste management...Rs.350 per day.
                      Infection prevention charges...Rs. 500 per day
                      Medical registrar charges...1500 per day

                      Most of the above charges are highly excessive against the norms fixed and hence, disallowed by the Insurance Co. and therefore, I had to pay ~ Rs. 72000 from my own pocket.

                      I am a very Senior Citizen and thus, request you to arrange for a refund from the hospital of Rs. 72000.

                      I can submit the Bill, if needed.

                        My husband was admitted in hospital on 27th May in emergency ward and later was shifted to ICU ward on next day he was given pentanl sedation injection saying he is becoming restless was put on ventilator also. All sort of tests were conducted and patient was given sedation injection for 6days and later on asking the reason for giving sedation injection the only reason was restlessness. The very next day the injection was stopped my husband came in consciousness again without reason they put him on sedation injection later said that the patient will be no more in next 24-48 hours. He was having jauindice but no treatment was given to patient and some lame reasons were given of liver transplant.. Worst hospital for earning easy money by putting the patients on ventilator and putting the person on death bed

                        I would hardly recommend this hospital to anyone please if you don't want to loose any of your dear ones
                        I have lost my bread earner my husband bcoz of this dirty hospital

                          I am rectifying Bills since day 1 of admission and no one is supportive in team and they have poor management it seems they donnt know the difference between general wards and ICU i feel they are confused in both also they are weak in planning system sometimes they are delaying in shifting patient from ICU to general ward this is not helping me to even discharge patient

                            I was admitted in wockhardt Mumbai Central, in morning i was told that i will be getting discharge today, later by evening i went to the counter of my ward and asked Dr. Vidya who was on duty regarding my status about discharge since it is evening now and accordingly il call my dad to pick me up. She replied rudely saying i don't know go down n find out by urself i said u expect a patient to leave his ward n go down and enquire? She replied send ur relative im not here to answer u, i told her u being the hospital representative i will ask you to that she said u pls shut up don't u know I'm a doctor. She is definately elder to me but don't know how to talk. Not only she is mannerless but rude, arrogant and unprofessional.i called up the hospital helpline talk to one of the representative, he directed my call to Dr.Ankit who is the head of the department i guess, he apologiesed on her behalf, i told him if she is behaving like this with me when I'm being very polite and asking her. i wonder what kind of behaviour is must be having with the poor people.i request you to kindly take strict action against her behaviour so in near future she won't take any pateint for granted and won't misbehave

                                  Here I am suffering from extreme stress because one is mother Smt Bharti singh is in very serious stage admitted in ICU at Wockhardts hospital Nagpur and recovery is not expectations. and second is Here Admin department not behaving properly, I have given bill of rs 1884691 / -for procedure against estimate cost of Rs 1200600 /- . when I raised this concerned they corrected it after 3 days. during the period I fell lot of depression and stress. my concerned is how it happened. kindly address my issue and took corrective action.

                                    Respected Sir,
                                    I Rahul Shinde, came to the hospital on 15th Jan 22 for treatment by Cardiologist Dr. Mangesh Kohale. I was treatment under CGHS, i am currently working in the Naval Pay Office, (Ministry of Defence) Mumbai. Even though the hospital is on CGHS empanneld list.
                                    Also, Dr. RG Rajput (AMA) reference letter and my Identity card were shown at the billing counter, the staff there said that it would not work.
                                    Although i have received a letter from Dr. RG Rajput, the medical officer of CGHS in Thane. the hospital has taken more money from me.
                                    I request that you refund any additional charges you may have taken from me.
