I am a liver patient undertaking regular advice from dr kaushal madan, one of the doctors in gastroenterology wing of max hospital at gurgaon. I took an appointment with dr kaushal madan on 15 02 2018 at 3.15pm. Appointment was fixed on application of max healthcare on my android mobile [protected] and my patients id 434409. I paid rs 1080.00 on line to the hospital account on icici pocket application. It was a successful transaction of money vide transaction reference number [protected] dated 31/01/2018. Hospital confirmed my appointment but fees payment is unconfirmed till date. I have contacted their helpline number several times but got assurance only. Even my e mail regarding confirmation of payment are unattended and ignored.
I am approaching this forum as a lost hope to get a resolution from this familiar but unfair hospital. I am a retired person of 66 years.

    Dear sir,

    This is the complaint regarding staff of max hospital mohali where i came from himachal for legs treatment of my mother. After examine yesterday (Ie on 6'th feb'17) we were told that my mother has to go for knee replacement for both the legs. As a normal person we agreed what staff has told. Max id of my mother is (Mhli.254743).
    I have below 2 complaints.
    (1). We have told by (Mr. Amit sharma - corportate) for the rate of 3.5 lacs which is very expansive.
    The price of special metals like titanium and oxidised zirconium have been slashed by almost 70% as per govt of india but we have given package of 3.61 which is very very expensive to bear.
    (2) my father is ex. Govt of hp employee. So he can avail re-reimbursement after treatment from hp govt. Irrespective to the fact that max hospital should have agreement (Mou) between them & hp govt so that after treatment which all mains hospitals in city like fortis, ivy etc has & can ready to provide but max staff has denied for the same. If hospital will not assure me about mou then how can i claim. I want written assurance.

    I hope that you will take it seriously & solve my concerns.

      parking charge

      Max hospital saket is charging parking fee of rs 100 in the garb of valet charge. At the gate you are told whether or not you use valet services, you will be charged rs 100/-.
      On the receipt they are writing valet services. This is against rules. The hospital is forcing everyone to pay for parking against law. There should be a helpline where citizens can report and strict action should be taken against hospitals and malls flouting...

      My family is currently running between hospitals as my grandmother is suffering from extreme breathing problems.

      Last night my grand mother was admitted in max hospital saket in emergency.in the morning her vitals were bit normal so the hospital asked us to take her home saying she is completely fine, however after few hours her condition degraded further but max said that they do not have enough place to accommodate her and referred her to moolchand hospital. After reaching moolchand hospital we were told that there is no ward available for her and max hospital did not consult them regarding the patient so they were not prepared. Now in the mean time my grandmother's condition deteriorated so much that doctor said that she needs to be admitted in icu but they do not have any icu available.

      We tried contacting max hospital again and till now we have not got any update from them. The doctors are not taking our concerns seriously. We are juggled between two different hospital with no place for patient.

        Wrong diagnosis or treatment

        Due to wrong treatment, i ended up with severe pain and discomfort all over the treated area.

        A year ago on the month of 22 dec 2016 — i consulted dr ajay jain of vashali max hospital who adviced colonoscopy test whose result was totally normal/fine, when he gone through with my history of pain, suggested excess of tissue (Stating fissure) which need be removed in surgery and within 5day post surgery your pain will start
        Healing. Now its been more than 11 months nothing has been healed a percent and apart from the point of pain it have started paining on the treated side as well coz of which im facing discomfort in sitting and its affecting my personal life and my career. On total i have spent 70000... For this treatment including consultation and now dr. Ajay jain (Max hospital vashali) has started saying that it is a case for neuro or you should consult with psychologist they will cure further.

        Please i expect justification and an effective treatment for the problem. As after spending this much amount i wanted to experience
        Relief from my pain but nothing has seemed to work.

        Expecting a positive responses as my issue/pain has been raised to chronic level which is really affecting me.

          This is to bring in your kind notice that one of the super-specialty hospital (Max - patparganj) in delhi doing unethical practice.
          It’s a matter of 4th dec’17, i took my mother in emergency, as we got to know that her platelet count is just 2000 due to side effect of a drug which she was taking from past 8 months for leprosy.
          After admitting her in emergency and depositing a charge of rs. 5, 000/- (Enclosing bill of same), doctor examined her after 15 minutes even though it was emergency ward. After seeing her they came to know by medical history of my mother that she is undergoing treatment of leprosy. At the time doctor were taking history of my mother, one of the nurse had already inserted the cannula in her hand for further treatment.
          But knowing about leprosy they stopped the examination then & there and command nurse to remove the cannula and tell that we cannot treat her as she is leprotic and it’s a communicable disease, take her to any govt. Hospital like gtb and refunded the money.
          After this disappointing statement, i was shattered and thinking just how to get treatment for my mother as it was very risky situation, anything could happen since a small bleeding could cost her life.
          After getting treatment at other hospital, when i search on internet, i came to know an interesting fact, which i am enclosing also. (Who fact sheet).
          In which it is clearly mentioned that transmission of leprosy is interrupted after the very first dose of mdt.in other words, patients are no longer infectious to others after being administered the first dose of the treatment regimen.

          So, i would like to know how could a so called super-specialty hospital deny for the treatment even in emergency.
           does govt. Not have any regulation over these hospitals who are practicing un-ethically?
           or doctors are not capable or knowledgeable enough to practice there?
          Then who have to pay for all this; we as a patient? Big reason to think!
          Hoping for a positive response from your side as soon as possible.

            One of the worst hospital where doctors have a degree just for a sake. I admitted my mother to the hospital in a fit n fine health just for putting stunt in her body as advised by the doctor. Before admit, my mom was perfectly fine and just having a sugar problem. While doing operation, doctors did a mistake due to which blood continuously flowing out of her body. Still doctors didn't notice this and said to my family that she will be fine within few days and we are discharging her tommorow. Please take her to home and have rest. When we turned next morning to the hospital for completing the discharging formality and to take her home. Then we came to know that she is no more. Not even a single doctor was having the reason of her death. When we start shouting then their security guards forced us to go out of the hospital. This was my story. I lost my mother due to doctor's careless attitude. If you love your closed ones, never recommend this hospital to anyone.

              One of the worst hospital (Max healthcare hospital, sector -18, noida) in my experience as they dont have any specialist doctor available in case of emergency (After 20:00 hrs / 08:00 pm), only the associate doctors were available and these doctors (Associate) does not suggest any thing to the patient except they are busy in money making or to improve there performance to gain the experience.

              My finger was badly injured on 4th feb 2017 at around 07:30 pm / 19:30 hrs.
              I went to the max hospital, sector -18, noida for the emergency treatment and was very much disappointed with the first aid treatment and more over the worst thing is the availability of associate doctor (S) there and there knowledge as well. At that time if the doctor (S) are unable to handle any case they need to suggest some other hospital or doctor's reference for the better treatment but there the associate doctor (S) are busy in how they get more money or how they prove that they have handled the number of cases in emergency.

              Even the medical bill (S) that they have prepare have nothing detailed description of about anything, i have been attaching the medical bills here. I will surely raise my voice to govt chanel's to ask why the max hospital has not been giving detailed bills to what drugs/therapy have been used. Even the registration fee (S) at max hospital has not detailed description of why and what they are charging. Even how the people with lower income can think to get to the max hospital for treatment.

              Though it was my personal loss at that time due to the injury that may be possible to save if any one suggested me the best at the max hospital but i know after that they are behind the money and have inexperience associate
              Doctor (S).

              I never suggest to anyone to go for max hospital in case of any emergency during night (S) as they have only associate doctor (S) available as i had seen that according to my experience.

                On 25th oct. My mother was very unwell, so we rushed to the nearest hospital which was max smart hospital and straight away rushed to the emergency, she was unable to sit and asked for stretcher but none of the emergency staff listened to the patient rather after few minutes nurse came and checked her bp & said bp is normal and asked us to move towards opd.
                In the opd we met dr. Santosh kumar aggarwal, he got bp checked again and it was so low that doctor asked for her admission and told us to move to the emergency and let nurse starts fluids giving procedure as she was drowning and unable to sit in the wheelchair even she is rheumatoid arthritis patients.
                But again doctors in emergency and there staff just sucked, they dint even allowed my mother and informed us beds are not available, we requested for stretcher until she gets admitted but no response was given to the patient condition even after doctor wrote the same in his prescription, when i went inside i found beds including stretcher was available!
                When i tried to speak to the duty manager, mr. Deepak the duty manager answered " agar wheelchair par baitha ni jata to kahi aur leke jayeye, yaha na rooms par na emergency par bed available hain". When i told him to come down and see beds stretchers are available he dint even came rather banged the phone.
                I called this dr. Santosh, he answered "yaha ye log aisa hi karte h, ap dusre max hospital ya kisi dusre hospital lejaye".
                In such a bad & ill treatment with the patient neither they provided any gda nor any stretcher since last 3hrs and i have to take my mother to some other hospital.
                This is how the great max smart hospital plays with people's life.
                I want very strict action against the whole emergency staff including deepak the duty manager & that dumb dr. Santosh aggarwal - if he knew, such ill-treatment happens, why the hell he's mum and not taking it up with the management... Did he forgot his medical oath???& did these emergency docs too forgot there medical oath??? If so they should be punished very badly.
                Kindly request you to look into this matter seriously, so that in future no one has to face such situation.
                Also, i need proof against the action you will be taking after this complaint of mine against these inhuman #.

                  Dr raj of max paschim vihar cheated us by selling star key hearing aids at unreasonable price. The same hearing aids are available at far less price. Also during the initial session, he told us that the product carries lifetime warranty while on the card he wrote just 2 years. One of his hearing aid stopped working just after 2 months, and when we gave it to him for repair he screwed it all the more. When we try calling him he doesnt answer and if he does he only gives false arguments. We have been chasing him for past 2years. Bt its all futile.

                  We had taken an appointment for Dr Anupam Bhargva Max Saket for 15th November but was Seen/discussed/reports etc by Dr Vijayan . It is not understood why i should pay for for a individual doctor and could have gone to Dr Sood in fortis . It gives a feeling that hospital is cheating and misleading
                  My mother has a stone on stomach. it will be operated by durbbin method suggested by doctor but latter come to know that patient'husband link to government employment after told that machine is out of order. please help this matter.

                      In paediatric opd. I was in queue as required then suddenly one pregnant lady came and cross me from the queue for appointment. Just to respect of the lady i didn't say anything why you crossed me. I requested the receptionist to give me the appointment because dr. Bhatia was about to leave it's 12:30. She was so rude and arrogant was telling me in very bad manner (Tumhe dikhayee nahi deta dusare log tumse pahle line mai hai) it's very painful words when i was not wrong. Receptionist was miss piu dutta malik. Some more to say lack of space.

                      It's not only me I have noticed she did the same thing with other people sorry to say person was looks like villagers she did the the worst thing with him as well. Regarding the payment very very illiterate kind of answer she has given to that fallow.

                        I would like to lodge a complaint against max hospital vaishali, particularly dr anant kumar and his secretary ms mita paul for the treatment meted out to my mother as follows-
                        1. My mother pramila gupta who is 84 years old was consulting dr anant kumar, urologist, her max id is shpp 154698.
                        2. She had a problem o[censored]rine incontinence and was advised administration of a botox injection which was carried out on 29th september, 2017.
                        3. She was asked to reach hospital by 8 am, however the procedure was carried out at 4 pm ie almost after 8 hours delay.
                        4. We paid a sum of almost rs 40000 for the procedure but it was of no help to the patient.
                        5. We then again went to the doctor for reporting the problem after prior appointment on 11th october.
                        6. The appointment given was for 4.40 pm and we reached there much before the appointed time. However to our shock there appeared to be no system in place as to how the patients will be seen by the doctor as per appointed timings. Patients were just hanging outside the docter's room and entering his room without any queue. My mother who is 84 years year old obviously could not stand like this and had to wait and wait. When i protested to the secretary ms mita paul she was rude to say the least and said she cannot help as the doctor has time for only 4-5 patients but the appointment is given to 15-20 patients everyday so she cannot help. I kept pleading that my mother is very old and cannot sit for such a long time, however it all fell on deaf ears.
                        7. After a long wait for almost 2.5 hrs when i was asked to see the doctor he was in a hurry to leave and had no time to talk. When i told him that my mother is finding no improvement after spending such a huge amount he casually referred her to a junior doctor to consult and left the hospital. When i paid the fees for the senior doctor it was highly unethical to not even spend 2 minutes to understand her problem.
                        8. I again had to wait for almost an hour to see the junior doctor and it was the same story with ms mita paul of not having any system, in fact most of the patients were agitated.
                        9.in fact my mother has consulted this doctor 2 times earlier also but this highly unprofessional appointment system handled my mita paul was on those occasions also.
                        10. After spending such a huge amount for the treatment with such a reputed hospital the least we expect is a professional and polite attitude particularly for a 84 year old patient.

                          Hospital is just to earn money. They try each and everything to take out money. The lower doctors doesn't seems to have any medical knowledge. I was adimitted for more tha 10 hours and my treatment was not started just because they were not able to generate a report which others give in 4-5 hours. They uncessay add saline to ur body. Just because of illiterate junior doctor i was given overdose of antibody because of which i got rashes and ictching and when i complained about the same he ignored but once the senior doctor came then only he accepted his mistake

                            I have taken multiple treatment from your hospital at gurgaon branch.
                            My mother went angioplasty, my daughter was admitted for many days as she was diagnosed with dengue fever. I spent more than 2.75 lakhs for their treatment and care at your hospital.
                            Before getting treatment i enquired with your desk staff and billing staff, whether they are giving corporate discount to sbi officer. They refused that there is no such provision for sbi staff.
                            But i enquired with my corporate centre and head office they quoted that there is a corporate tieup with sbi and max along with circulars. When i came to know such thing i went to your hospital and they answered that you will not be given as the billing has been done.
                            I question to your organisation that "who is responsible for this loss incurred by me"
                            This is your poor customer care service delivered to me.
                            So i request you to raise the issue and arrange for refund of 20% as under corporate tieup. This refund will enhance my faith in you.

                              I have names of doctors who joined their hands with social evils and for money they are giving illegal permissions.
                              For me doctor is like god and if he do like this it is very disrespect for his profession.
                              Please take immediate action so that this type of activities does not hurt our country.

                                Sir /madam, i visited max. Hospital on 18.09.2017 after appointment on phone for my wife who is 57 yrs old and i am 63 years old. I wanted to have check of thyroid (Blood test). I am retired employee of ntpc. Hospital staff told me to go for preventive health check up plan for which cashless payment will be done through ntpc health card. I handed over my health card to them, & i was given receipts which mentioned payment will be done by company (Ntpc) and after four hours when all test done. Hospital staff told me that i have to do cash payment and payment will not be done by company. Till date i am not handed over any report of test. Mr manoj (Deputy manager) from max heath care called on 20.09.17 and threatened with dare consequence if i dont make payment.
                                Sir i want to ask, it was hospital misinformation that forced me to take package else i would have gone for single blood test of thyroid only for which my wife is taking medicine. Instead of apology, mr manoj is making threatening calls from no. ([protected]) to pay else legal action or serious consequence. Is this way your hospital treat senior citizen. Max healthcare is big reputed hospital but this kind of behavior is tarnishing its image. I request yourself take action in this regard. I am ready to pay for thyroid blood test and please hand over thyroid report to me. Because of misguidance only i was forced for package then why should i get punishment. Hope for unbiased decision from hospital administration

                                  I am ashok kumar waiting at ground floor waiting lounge reception my patient was in icu having dengue positive but entire whole day only one channel discovery routed

                                  Also there no cups are available for drinking water & also some where water also not available in bottles

                                  So my request you to plz change immediately to some news channel

                                  Nobody is listening here

                                  As you have good name in hospital chain but arrangement are not upto the mark. So, this will spoil your image in mkt.

                                    My name is dheeraj kumar and my max id is shbg.1783. I have to do treatment for piles in max hospital shalimar bagh by ews category. I am holder of bpl card and i come under ews category. I have submit my all document for surgery of piles treatment before two months but they are not doing my surgery and not give any response so please take immediately action against hospital. They take money for treatment or surgery for ews category people by government delhi but they are careless for poor people treatment. They do care only for rich people and give time them for treatment or surgery.

                                      मैं जगदीश प्रसाद MAX ID-EHPG687533 ने दिनांक 21/08/2017 को X-Ray कराया था, जिसकी फिल्म तो उसी दिन प्राप्त कर ली थी।रिपोर्ट अगले दिन की लेने को बोला था।आज दिनांक25/08/2017 को सुबह 08:00 बजे जब रिपोर्ट लेने गया तो कभी बेसमेंटB-1मेँ डिस्पेच मे कभी रिस्पेशन में चक्कर लगाते रहे, परन्तु न तो डिस्पेच मे कोई स्टाफ मिला न रिपोर्ट।
                                      मैं परेशान होकर 08:40 पर वापस आ गया।मुझे काफी परेशानी और मेरा समय भी खराब हुआ।

                                      Its true that Max hospitals r just doing business. They are not at all concerned about the patient health. My father Mr Prem Narang had gone through a angioplasty on 24 December 2017 in Max healthcare saket (GM modi building). Couple of days after his surgery, he had few episodes of vomiting and fainting so we have taken him to the doctor, where doctor advice us to admit him for a day so we did it. We were told that as we have insurance so they will admit my father for 24 hrs so that they can do all necessary tests and can observe him. As told by patient(my father) and attendants, no medications were given. Dr have visited him once a days and charged 2-3 times. Kept him in ICU without any reason.

                                      Now, today he had some breathing issue so went for a reqular check up. He was waiting for 3 hrs in emergency for a dr and were charged Rs 500 per hr. Is this patients fault that he had to wait and charged? Dear Max hospitals management, PLEASE STOP CHEATING AND CHARGING UNNECESSARILY. STOP UR BUSINESS. We can't pay u in excess. We are middle class people with limited salary. We were at ur hospital in hope of good treatment not for paying unacceptable charges. My parents are ur reqular patient because we dont have any other hospital around our place.

                                      Please take some action otherwise will forward this in a consumer court.
