Max Hospital — Complain ::Dr Nikhil anil nadkarni - Gastroenterology

Date of Incident: Oct 4, 2014 Location: Max Hospital-Mohali, Punjab Worst doctor (Dr Nikhil Anil Nadkarni ) and operation management- I would like to Highlight about unprofessional behavior about Dr Nikhil Anil Nadkarni. He is totally unprofessional and work only for money. May be he will be ready to do anything for money. We have an appointment with this doctor at 11.20 am (first patient), he has not shown up till 12.45 pm. We have given reminder to him through Operation Manager. As soon as, he entered into his room, one of his ward boy or similar to it, enter into room and called a patient who came at last. After this, again, he did called another patient with somebody’s preferences. Then, he started taking patients according to his choice rather than on the basis of numbers. I asked me why he is doing so, but his answer were worst. He said “ In India you don’t get cheap medical services. I will take patient based on my preferences”. What does it mean? Will he do anything for money?? I could have thrown some coins and asked him to do belly dance. I asked him that my wife is in not in a good situation and we are waiting for more than 1 hours. We have first appointment. Even their Ops manager did checked our appointment and confirmed that we have first number. This manager confirmed me that this doctor will see us first. But this doctor said “I don’t care. I will see patient according to my choice. I don’t care if you wife is critical. Everybody is not well and I don’t care who came first”. If our doctors have such type of mentality, how they will help society. I want to file a formal complain about this doctor, but somehow not able to get any contact details where I can file complain. Do share details of filing complain.
