Max Hospital — Delivery

Address:Max Hospital vaishali

Good Day

This is in Reference to the facilities provided / not provided to My wife and my New Born during our Delivery stay at your so called prestigious hospital Max Vaishali.

I came to the Hospital on 7th of February 2023 for the Delivery as Advised by our Dr Anita Sharma. I have Availed services of Max Noida earlier for my first child and now because the maternity department is closed there i was of the confidence that Max Vaishali would be at Par, but to my disappointment it was not so.

Initially when my wife was admitted to the Labour Room, the staff there was so corteus, including all the senior doctors and nurses, they took care of my wife really well in there and even in NICU my New Born was well kept.

Things turned against the tide soon after delivery at 6:01 PM, we were not alloted the room till 9:00 PM.
at 9:30 PM my wife was allowed to enter the room, Courtesy your Bed Managers. Even after applying for a Bed before hand at 4:30 PM they were still looking for the Room transfer form till 8:00 PM.

After we got shifted everything was going smooth till midnight, but aterwards for every small thing we had to call the attending nurses and other staff, even though they knew as per schedule what was the feeding time for baby and medicine duration for mother. once we used to call a nurse to assisst in feeding the baby they would just vanish saying that we would call someone, and this kept on happening till 45-60 minutes when finally i had to strictly tell someone to assissst us. The same thing repeated in the afternoon of 8th February .

We being the attendent and the patient had to call someone again and again to assisst us. (what they expect from the mother to stand and deliver within 6 hrs of the C-Section which is one of the most critical surgery as per medical practitioners. )

we are not trained to assisst the patient in everything, that's why we have the Nursing staff to help us in need and not make us pleed for each and everything. That would make any patient who has just gone under operation to get frustrated.

Same day we were made aware of the Cake cutting ceremony and complimentary photograph of the family from the Hospital. they said it will happen the other day on 9th of february, but everyone in the morning from 6:00 AM onwards started to drag us out of the hospital. Including the Nurses, the cleaning staff, the floor manager, and night attending doctors. Nothing was conveyed to us by the Doctor that we have to leave early from the hospital. initially i was informed that for C-Section i have to take a package for 3 days which will cost me approximately 1.35 Lakh, and i was made to leave within 36 hrs of my wife C- Section. and when i enquired about the complimentary services which were yet to be provided for my family no one was aware of same.

The accounts department had already made my bill and was calling me since morning to clear my dues otherwise they will charge me with half day extra charge, even after taking 3 days package (whereas i have had completed only 40 hrs so far). Till now our doctor had not attended us and we were looking for a Green light from our Doctor .Only after her examination we were convinced that we can make a move.

My concern is if the hospital is charging me for a package then why they forced me to leave early, they were so adamant to make the room empty for other patients, that they force the residing patients out of the room.

And when i asked for a wheel chair as i was already fred up there by them continously asking us (is today your discarge), it took them almost 1.5 hrs and still no wheel chair was provided which as per them ususally takes 5 minutes. at the last my father saw a wheel chair lying there only and then told the nurse to use that only, even than they were waiting for other staff to use it.
i had to personally ask them for the ear test for my baby, which was supposed to happen in the NICU itself in the initial hours of delivery, after asking them twice finally the doctor came for examination.

i seriouly had the worst experience of my lifetime in that hospital, the staff was not at all corteous and trained . When i asked he nurses for some warm water to feed my baby, they gave me dirty water twice and i had to somehow manage with other resources.

Max Noida was a far better experience than Max Vaishali (even though the latter is having more Footfall and better facilities).

i was not expecting such bad behaviour, untrained and unaware staff from such a big Hospital. For each small thing i had to remind the staff . Even for billing i had to leave my Patient alone as they were calling me continously and were threatening for extra charges.

This was my first and last experience here at Max Vaishali. Never coming again. thank you for such a bad experience.
