Max Hospital — Request for refund due to misdiagnosis and subsequent tooth extraction

I am writing to formally request a refund for the root canal treatment performed on my left premolar] on 23 - Jul 2024 at Max superspecialist Hospital sector 128 Noida. At the time, the tooth was diagnosed as having a single root canal, and treatment was carried out accordingly by Dr Kirti.
However, following persistent pain and infection after the procedure, Dr Praveen identified its not a single root canal but double. Due to this oversight, the infection worsened, causing significant discomfort and ultimately necessitating a tooth extraction, as the damage had become irreversible.
This experience has not only caused me physical pain and emotional distress but also led to additional financial burden for corrective treatment. I believe this situation constitutes a clear case of misdiagnosis and incomplete treatment, and I am therefore requesting a full refund of the amount paid for the root canal procedure.
However, I am thankful to Dr Anurag and Praveen that before the final procedure of root canal, they understood the situtation and the pain I was in and suggested for correct thing for tooth extraction, but I believe there should be more training of young doctors so that they can do the diagnosis correctly.
Also when we booked the appointment with Dr Praveen, I think the complete case should be handled by Dr Praveen, and we should be made aware of the doctor who is performing the RCT before hand, we trusted Dr Praveen recommendation and proceeded, However now I feel it was a mistake on our part, if we were booked with Dr Praveen that come what may the rest of the procedures should also be done by him else we should have consulted some other doctors who were specialists
