Max Life Insurance — delay in the surrender process

Address:Imphal East, Manipur, 795001

My policy no.62647122 surrender on 4th October 2017 for some financial problems. The Imphal branch assured me the surrender amount will receive within 25 to 30 days. They failed to their words and till now no information is provided to me.Why is it so, and what is the reason for the delay in my application process?
