Address: MD India for SAIL BOKARO

I am a subcriber to the SAIL mediclaim scheme administered by MD India. I have paid my subscription for the year and am entitled to Rs. 8000 as outpatient cost reimbursement. I had submitted a claim for medication from my physician in Apollo hospital, Hyderguda Hyderabad for diabetes and hypertension medicines. Due to Covid 2nd wave the doctor was consulting from home and gave me a prescription on his letterhead but clearly stating he is an Apollo hospital consultant.
The claim has been rejected in spite of several clarifications. The doctor has now resumed hospital based consultations and has resent the prescription from the hospital letterhead but the claims department still has rejected it. Kindly look into the matter and resolve it soon.

    Brief about the issue:
    My Father was hospitalized in Covid Designated Hospital in Agra on 26th April and Discharged on 28th April-21 due to a complaint of breathlessness.

    Total Bill was approx 60K and out of which TPA only reimbursed 36K.
    The room rent was 18K/day *2 = 36K whereas TPA straight away deducted 26K stating that 5000/day rule in Policy.

    However that was a peak time and none of the Hospital in whole India is treating at this cost . We all have seen and know about what was the condition during that period and How hospitals were charging for it.

    It would be very helpful if you could help me in this tough situation. The deduction is huge and it is difficult to afford at such a difficult time.

      Medicine Tax have not been approved in Claim ID - MDI6446527.

      The same Treatment happened 15 days back and 30 days and Medicine Tax have been approved in Claim ID - MDI6409015.

      Please approve the same in Claim ID - MDI6446527.

      While speaking to MDIndia representative they are threating that they will get all the previous claim that they approved.

      This is painful and harasment for a cancer Patient.

      MDIndia Healthcare Services customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      This issue should be sorted out between Dharamshilla Cancer Hospital and MDIndia but the Patient is suffering here at the time of discharge.

      MDIndia is very non responsive and even after revised request sent from Dharamshilla hospital they are not sending the correct response. Even they are threatening that they will not approve the claim that they sanctioned earlier.

      Seek intervention of Senior Management here.

        Medanta is the worst hospital I have seen in my entire life, in my opinion, this hospital does not deserve any rank, pathetic services, pathetic management, no cleaning in hospital, no time schedule, these big brand are here to make monkey and to fool customers, their staff is very rude when we ask something that they have promised and can't full, uneducated staff, highly unprofessional, they don't even know how to talk and not ever know their work at all, really frustrating environment, I will surely file FIR against them without any delay.

                    My Policy No.:151200/48/21/13331, MDI5-[protected], Claim No.:MDI6297697, Patient Name -Janhavi Ramani,
                    I was found Covid +ive on 13/04/2021, and as per Doctors advice i Quarantied myself for 10 days at my home, as per government directives and doctors advice i did not met any one for these 10 days, i was closed in a separate room, for all the days of isolation i tested my oxygen level, pulse rate, temparature and made a chart. which i forwarded to MD india on their demand. Now MD india is asking that this Spo2, pulse and temparature chart should be certified by treating doctor. The Treating Doctor Rejected my request saying "when i was not there at the time of test how can i certify this data." Now since the test data are not certified by Doctor, on this basis MD India rejected my insurance claim. I am aggreived by this rejection decision of MD india of my claim. When doctor is denying to certify, how can i force doctor to do that.
                    above all when doctor has given his prescription, the disease is diagnosed, the medicines bills are attached then why this ridiculous condition of giving daily chart is there, and that to certified by doctor. why doctor will certify when he was not present at my home at the time of conducting daily testing.
                    This condition is put by MD India just to avoid the claims. I am Deepely aggreived by the way they are rejcting my claim.
                    I request you to please intervene in this matter and please help me to get my claim of Rs. 4589/-.

                        This is Rajesh P working in public sector bank,
                        recently i was affected with covid 19 was got admitted to private hospital Mohanraj Covid 19 care hospital, since my wife also affected we both got admitted, i have submitted the claim documents for reimbursement purpose.
                        In the patient name TAMILARASI {My wife} MDI487158
                        Sanctioned an amount was of Rs 78647 on 26 Nov 2020 and 35328 on 21 Dec 2020 split into two half's for a total bill value of 113975/-

                        I have also submitted the same bill in the name of Rajesh MDI5918052 with total bill valve of Rs 119320/- but while checking through mdindia chat portal i saw that total bill value was Rs 164517/- which is wrong value, i have send all my documents to mdindia representative of my bank
                        I was sanctioned an amount of oly 66900 and which got credited on 21 dec 2020 and 6070 on 19 jan 2021 totally 72970/-
                        Now my question is why is there is so much difference in sanctioning two bills of same value with same documents and treated in same hospital and by same doctors.


                        Please kindly help me in sanctioning the balance amount for the claim that is in the name of Rajesh P

                              Its a matter of disappointment that even after 4 months, it is in pending status and remark as "It is submitted for review to Insurance company" is reflecting since long time.
                              I have dropped many mails till date but no response received till date. Their Nodal officer- Mr Veerbhadra Agarwal at Jaipur Location is a very rude person and he behaved very bad when i tried to speak over phone with him. He never shown concern for my queries and very casual in reply. He get irritated with my calls and shouted over phone.
                              Please look into the matter and also suggest the way where i can raise the complaint for this to get the solution and also to teach them that how costly it is to harass somebody.

                                My father KM George kutty was admitted hospital on early September 2020 and we have submitted claim on time, but later we have informed that bank details are not clear hence we provided all the documents several time (October 2020) clear and we followed up with several staff, unfortunately every time we get a response that it will get ready by next month.
                                When we followed up in March 2021, we were informed that Claim is closed due to a Cut- of date 6 months and we have requested for renewing the claim. After that we got a message saying the claim was renewed and still we didn't receive any proper update on the status. After march we called MDIndia staff more than 4 times, Each time they are saying us to call after a week.
                                I have mailed them many times to get an update but there is no proper response from them.
