I am having PNB Oriental Mediclaim Policy No. 272900/48/2021/780 valid upto 21.4.2021 in the name of R.R. Tandon with Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., wherein TPA is Medi Assist. For renewal and increasing cover from Rs.5 lacs to Rs.10 lacs, I requested Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. with deposit of cheque of premium of Rs.10 lacs cover, but they are not increasing the cover on the pretext that Medi Assist TPA is showing a claim against my policy, whereas I have not made any claim so far since the beginning of policy i.e.[protected]. In fact, I got a pre-approval from Medi Assist in Dec.2020 but couldnot availed/claimed any thing. I request Medi Assist TPA to clarify the factual position, advise Oriental Insurance Co. to enhance my cover amount from Rs.5 lacs to Rs.10 lacs. (R.R. Tandon) (Mob.[protected])

    I request you to get settled my reimbursement amount from medi assist..
    After my submission of additional documents, it's been a month today, still they have not settled my reimbursement amount..
    As we have lot of troubles in our routine life, it's been our hard earned money,
    Hospital has given and co operated with whatever documents required from medibuddy team..
    But still now they have not processed my claim id 23947949..
    Kindly do the needful..

      Very bad whole recovery the claim process. They are telling will do final submit within 2-4 hr. But it's taking more than 6hr.

      So befrank don't have any medical insurance.

          Mediassist is very worst insurance company, i think so they are not giving claim amount and always asking same documents

            This is an emergency that i am going through along with my 1 yr 7 months kid awaiting for approval from afternoon cashless claimfor claim sent from JSS hospital around 15:15pm still not be approved difficult situation staying back in hospital awaiting for approval.               Hi,
              I had my mother eye surgery completed yesterday. Hospital had sent an email with all the details yest morning 10am.
              I have been chasing mediassit team to check the status on approval. I've called up team around 10-15 times and even spoke with one of the Lead Mr Giri Rao.
              Apart from assurance, that it will done in next 30 mins, nothing till now is done.

              I need to escalate and make they address my issue on priority.

                      I have raised request on app for claim reimbursement in month of 0ct 2020 in name of my mother Deepinder Kaur she was admitted on 10-0ct-20 and discharged on 11-Oct-202 to another medical hospital . Tracking number-H[protected] #Claim number[protected]. As the app does not have option o[censored]ploading the pending document hence i have send all the document by Email to team, which was uploaded as well but still team denied my claim. During the same time i spoke to assocaites from complaints team and she said u send all the originals before hand along with letter asking to reopen the claim which team has received on 31-Dec-2020 and they uploaded all the document on 9-Jan-21 on system but still claim was not reopened and i keep getting email to share the document along with date and time of admission and discharge for patient which was already there in my originals but still i got the letter from doctor confirming the same and team has already received the original letter and it is also uploaded on system but still case is not reopened and still i am getting email asking for POD details which i have already shared in Email with team.
                      I have called your contact center 100 time but no one is taking ownership to get it processed.
                      its worst company and the process i have come across.

                      Even ur complaint team is not available to take up the call or get this fixed and back end team just keep sending email for ticket i have raised saying resolved.

                        Medi assist india is not processing my reimbursement claim money.there have took more than 3 months to complete the processing and now when i have submitted all the documents they are not disbursing my reimbursement amount for more than 3weeks. Every time I call there customer care they say it will be processed soon.

                          Token the premium amount in Oct 2020 and as of date (Jan 28 2021), still did got the policy. Support team claimed refund in 10 business days. But even after 90 days, no refund credited and they keep annoy with same same questions again and again in circles and they keep saying wait for another 10 days. This is never ending

                            I have submitted all the bills through speed post for Hospitalised medical treatment Reimbursement and many queries were also asked by Mediassist on phone. I replied all the queries but the claim was rejected from the Mediassist without giving any written reply. I have also mailed an application for my claim no. 23061749 many times but the claim still not being reopened and processed. I am attaching details application which was mailed.

                                  I have 6 years of health insurance policy in medi assist but they rejected my reimbursement because they told us we have just 1 year of health insurance policy. We contacted medi assist branch but they can't help me. They told us we are trying but no any progress in their works or our claim. Please solve my claim problem. And we want that strict action against of medi assist india. They will fraud us. We want justice. Please help us.

                                    Hello, pls help my friends & colleagues from this Medi Assist TPA Insurance Pvt Ltd company located at bannerghatta road tower D 4th floor IBC knowledge park near Dairy Circle Bangalore.

                                    I would say this company is involved in huge politics and malpractices. Playing with employee by unwanted removing from job without any compensation where as according to Labour law an employee should be paid atleast 3 months of salry but none is given and directly calling them and saying we don't hv enough work to give so can't keep in system.
                                    All managers are lotting innocent employees money. Torching, demanding to work in weekoff, no incentive is provided.
                                    This is a worst company ever. Managers are full politics. No manners. CTC offers more but paid is 5k lesser and when asked ### tricks shows which has no value or solution.

                                    Request to pls take it forward and raid this company. I hope nothing is going accurate when it comes to money matters or job security.

                                      I made a cashless claim type for my father's by pass surgery in Billroth hospital, during pre-auth verification they just keep insisting on various documents including previous doctors and illness details. I provided all genuine documents from Billroth and also what ever relevant details on the old treatment I had. From the beginning they showed negligence in doing the pre-approval and keep sending back and froth in asking so many questions, I got this insurance through my company and its a corporate account still they didn't consider any of the request and at the date of admission they simply denied the request by saying this surgery is having a related with the pre existing illness. I really don't understand one thing, BP and diabetes are common for most of the people and my father is 60+ so regular check up and treatment is common. The issue currently may have some reasons attached to it, but its a bypass surgery and it should be done as early as possible otherwise the blood circulation will be stopped completely going to the legs. I really don't know what needs to be done to revoke this process and come out of this situation. Frankly speaking this is my first ever approach on any of the insurance company in my 20+yrs of IT experience. First itself become worst and I lost the hope on such insurance companies or TPA who is associated with that. Are these are running for helping the people or putting more tensions and mental stress to people. Asked the hospital to resend the documents and trying to process again, hopefully good happens and my father gets operated successfully.

                                      As I informed earlier, Doctor has revisited the request and now a new claim ID[protected] is created and getting processed. Currenty Medi Assisted requested few information for which hospital is responding.

                                      Hospital was asking for any old documents on BP and Hyper tension, diabetes but unfortunately my father did had any serious issue on any of those illness, its just a age factor which had an average count on all those and we haven't underwent any treatment also for those factors. I have provided the same information to the Hospital.
