I had hospitalized in jan and i have raised a claim on 23rd feb which has been approved on 24th march but till date the amount is not yet settled.

Also i had claimed 20, 066 amount but approved amount is only 16377.00 by deducting 3, 688 which is an invalid deductions as shown below

15jan-c-180+120 19jan-c-180+335.No prescription for 9 th feb.Casuality, 16jan-p133..

Called many times and kept many mails but no proper response from mediassist team..

Looks like a no 1 fraud company i had ever seen.

    My claim id : 12165269
    Claim received date: 19-jan-2016

    It's more than 3 months complete and claim is not done yet. I have been talking to both mr. Sumeet from royal sundaram and pankaj from medi assist. All the documents have been submitted from my side. They are saying no further documents are required.

    I also talked with mr sumeet manager amit satav ( phone no: [protected]). He is not responding with any updates.

    It's a serious issue from a customer perspective. I have been very furious and frustrated with claim process.
    Medi Assist India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    Medi Assist and Royal Sundaram service in Pune sucks big time.
    Since 2 months Claim no 12452574 & 12520682 not yet reimburse kindly take necesssary action and reimburse the claims.

          Patient admitted in delhi heart and lungs institute yesterday and the document were submitted for insurance cover in the morning at 10. 00 am.

          Till this hour we have not received any single update on this, called numerous times on the helpline numbers and wrote many mails, but now received any revert.
          Our patient has been suffering from heart attack and needs to be operated urgently but the surgery is on hold due to the negligence attitute of this company..
          We along with the patient are being harrassed.. Need urgent support

            Hello Team,

            I would like to tell you that I am completely disappointed and pained by the kind of service provided by MediAssist & IndiaFirst.

            I have been following up with the customer care for the last 3 days for approval and the same has not yet been provided. The surgery is planned for today @ 09:00. The pre-surgery medication has already started.

            The claim number is 12463528.

            I was calling up the customer care whole night yesterday & before that and every time, I get the same answer, the request should be approved in 1 hour. At the end of all this tiring exercise

            I haven't slept all night yesterday tried to get the approval from you guys
            I have still not got my approval
            I have to consult the doctor again to check the effects of the medication taken

              Hi team,

              Is there any possibility of withdrawing the Medical Insurance from Medi Assist which is done by mistake and you guys are deducting the money.
              This time my whole salary is deducted for the same insurance even when I didn't want to continue with this Insurance.
              This is not the way any insurance company works, even if a person don't want a Mediclaim you are taking the money.
              This is leading to such inconvenience for me.
              Last time in July, 14, 000 was deducted and this time 20, 000 is deducted that is my whole salary.
              How do you expect me to look after my expenses after this.
              This is not the way of continuing with the Insurance even when the Customer does not want to.
              This time it's really pathetic to deal with this again.

              That is why I have marked the Consumer Court team in this mail, so that everyone gets to know the kind of Insurance against the will o[censored]ser is done here.
              Even the Opt Out option is not there for the Parent Policy which should be there and this is how you are making money unnecessarily deducting the amount from salary.
              This time I DON'T want to continue with this Insurance and I want to withdraw this and get the amount back as I have not used even single penny from the money provided by Medi Assist.
              This lead inconvenience to me last year in July also and now they have taken my whole salary.

              Make sure this is taken care of or else I would take this to higher level which can easily lead to the brand image impact to Medi Assist.

I had already submitted all the original bill along with claim form as well as all the documents which you required for Reimbursement which are submitted at your vadodara branch, gujarat on dated 18.02.2016. & i had also contact to your customer care for the same but they told me that they didn't received any claim i had contact at ahmedabad office phone number [protected] i had contact to baroda branch contact number[protected] as well as chennai branch [protected] & [protected] no one pick up the phone and no one respond me

                now you are requested to solve this problem at your end as already nearest one month completed.

                  Hi,

                  I have a medi assist claim ID because I submitted my hospitalization documents through my employer to get the claim on Jan 27 2016, and the same verified my Mediassit on 1 of Feb and the amount was approved on 4-Feb-2016 but still my amount not settled.

                  1. I spoke with Customer care they escalated multiple time but no response
                  2. I spoke with One of the manager they said "if you want you can contact Ombudsman or Court"
                  3. I spoke with my employer they asking to call CUS
                  4. Still the amount was no settled
                  5. My insurance company is Oriental Insurance

                  Due to some software issue my settlement amount not credited near two months.

                  Don't Believe Medi Assist TPA...
                  They are FRAUD...
                  They are Cheating People
                  They are Playing with our Time and Money
                  No Proper Response
                  No Intimation or Information to the Insurer..

This appointment is book as on date 19.3.2016.This medical appointment is done for sunday mrng.your customer care executive have collected the information about client and tell me that I will give you a tpa code in mrng.As same I update to costumer and call for mrng medical.But I not receive any call from Your side, and client was wait in hospital till afternon.I was lot of calling to your toll free no., But no body pick the phone.                                   In January 2016, I have taken a PNB-Oriental Royal Mediclaim Policy. I understand that Medi Assist India, a third party administrator of mediclaims of PNB-Oriental Royal Mediclaim Policy issues ID Cards for cashless facility. I have not yet got such card. Do I get a cashless ID Card from Medi Assist India. If so when.
