[Resolved]  Medi Assist India — Claim Approved, but Settlement delayed without giving proper status

ello Medi Assist,

How long will you take for processing settlement of an approved claim. See there are two reimbursement claims of mine one is approved but not settled and the other is awaiting for the settlement of first claim see the status below.

The Claim is Approved on 14th June-2014. When I called your customer care on 24th June they've said wait for a week and see. I waited for one week called them again, they have said contact Hyderabad branch since it pending from Hyderabad Brach.

Now I called the Hyderabad office see their version we don't know about this claim and they have given me a number of Venkat Swamy who is the CRM for our company policy. Now I've called this person who didn't answer my call from 10 days.

Finally, I've visited to Hyderabad office on 10th July and in the Reception I asked claim Status. The receptionist went inside and taken the info from the Accountant and told me that your claim is cleared from our side on 16th June you've to contact Maxbhupa by saying Debit note number 108. I've contacted Maxbhupa they are saying no claims with my policy. Now I called back to MediAssist office and told me to put Venkat Swamy on the phone line. He said he'll check, update the status by evening. In the evening I called on his mobile he said Maxbhupa need your claim file for processing the claim he will be mailing the file to them on the next day.

I came back to the MediAssist office Hyderabad Branch on 11th July contacted Venkat Swamy and explained him what the receptionist told me on 10th July. Now he said okay I'll check with my Accountant. He told me to contact in the evening since our accountant is not available now. In the Evening I called him, he said we kept a mail to our head office. Earlier, he said accountant should come now he saying we kept mail waiting for the response from our head office. So now he told me to call on Saturday morning. I called him, he said no response received.

Today Morning I called him still the same answer didn't get a reply from Head office.

I just want to know why I'm not getting same correct status from each person. Earlier call center people said it will take max 7-10 working once it get approved we will make the payment. Now the Receptionist in Hyderabad office says it cleared pending from Maxbhupa. Now Venkat says sometimes accountant is not there sometimes finance team or else head office max bhupa need your claims files.
