My Wife suffered a Eclampsia during her pregenancy on July 1st and was admitted for 2 days for observation on the doctor advice.
There was no cashless available although the hospital was part of Medi Assit network. I tried raising this to customer care and there was no help. They just dissconnect the calls telling speak to the hospital staff.
I agrred to pay the amount and then raise a reiumburse from SBI . Then have raised the claim and submitted all the necesary documents the portal and the customer care has aksed me to do. The originals also have been couriered to the address provided by the customer agent.
Today the status of the claim is "repudiated" and when asked for the reason, they say it is not part of the policy.
I have considered SBI ARogya keeping in mind the maternety expenses it is covering. Agent when taking the policy assured that all kinds of reason will be covered expect pre-exiting issues, which are none as on date.
