I am writing to raise a concern regarding my recent order for NEBZMART GFB 5X2ML SUSP (Quantity: 2), Improper Storage of Medicine, incomplete Order and Incorrect Refund
1. Partial Delivery Without Proper Communication
I received a message stating that my order was ready for collection. However, when I reached the store, I was given only 1 quantity instead of 2.
There was no prior communication informing me whether:
The second item was out of stock, or
It would be delivered later, or
It had been cancelled
This lack of clarity is unacceptable from a customer standpoint.
2. Incorrect and Unexplained Refund
When I requested a refund for the missing item:
I received only ₹400,
Additionally, ₹14 was deducted without any proper explanation
I request a clear breakdown of the refund calculation and justification for the ₹14 deduction.
3. Serious Concern: Improper Handling of Temperature-Sensitive Medicine
This is my main concern.
The medicine packaging clearly mentions that it must be stored between 2°C to 8°C (refrigerated conditions). However:
The medicine was shipped from Chennai without any cold/refrigerated packaging, (I saw while unpacking the normal carton box the medicine in the store) and
Even at the store, the medicine was not stored in a refrigerator
This raises serious questions about:
Product safety and effectiveness
Compliance with medical storage standards
This is highly concerning, especially for medicines that require strict temperature control.
My Expectations
I request the following:
A clear explanation for:
Why only one item was delivered
Why the second item was not properly communicated
A detailed refund explanation, including:
Why only ₹400 was refunded
Reason for the ₹14 deduction
An explanation on:
Why proper cold-chain storage guidelines (2°C to 8°C) were not followed
What measures MedPlus is taking to ensure such issues do not happen again
