as a young awakened citizen of India i agonisingly write this mail
regarding the wrongful practice of the Movie Theatre management in
Malls.i with some of my friends went to watch a movie this sunday[[protected]]
in a nearby Mall [kalyan-metro mall, dist-thane] which was scheduled for
08:06 pm show but after watching movie i came to know that several key
scenes were edited/cut from the movie which we watched in the mall, this
is gross violation of consumer rights
because if the movie is being approved/cleared by CBFC then the entire
movie must be shown to the viewers, in fact when quizzed more about this
i found that theatre managers, in trying to accomodate more movies on
weekends they cut short the movie and make more money with more shows.this is really disappointing as no one takes up this issue and these cheats keep looting the common peoples had earned moneyon
the one hand Movie Industry is demanding of tax reduction and on the
other they dont look into publics apathy.all the eateries charge a
hefty sum in theatres and get benefited by having more shows.theatre
managements are failing in their duty to give full service to the
consumer
inspite of charging very high price on tickets.someone
needs to rein in this corrupt practice and give some relief and hope to
the young aspiring people of India who somehow have lost hope in the
laws of India.
