I booked an MG Windsor Essence Pro (Booking No: SS[protected] on 18-May-2025 at an ex-showroom price of ₹18, 09, 800.
On 16-July-2025, the dealer (FPL Cars Pvt. Ltd., Anna Salai, Chennai) confirmed vehicle allocation and color choice at this price.
After confirmation, the dealer delayed delivery and is now demanding the revised price of ₹18, 39, 800 effective from 1-Aug-2025, offering only ₹10, 000 discount.
This is despite my clear refusal to accept any price hike and proof of confirmation at the original price.
This is an unfair trade practice as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The delay is from the dealer’s side, and they cannot force a higher price after confirmation.
