I could not get help for a problem with my Surface pro 4 despite trying to reach the concerned department using helpline, direct line, email. I would strongly encourage people not to purchase microsoft
products. Other company's customer support is effective from my experience.
I am delighted to inform you that I have managed to dispose my surface pro 4 for 'paper weight's' value, and I am now relieved that I do not have to go through the ordeal of working on the device, or the ordeal of trying to reach technical support helpline. Its disgusting that the INDIA operations of Microsoft
is a sham, and there is no remorse, ownership or accountability. Whoever heads it and runs the show lack leadership and should be ashamed! Microsoft
India ought to shut down than functioning like this.
1. No body attended to the help line numbers. Just for a brief moment, 2 hours after office opening hours (9AM IST), a poorly trained, arrogant person
picked up, but had his head set messed up. The line was inaudible, and the person
couldn't be reached subsequently.
2. The microsoft person
who responded to my email promised to connect me to the appropriate person
, but again none picked up once he tried transferring the call to the Microsoft
surface department. He did not bother to call back or get email me again.
3. The Gurgaon office landline was unattended throughout the day.
4. The employees are not following the office hours of 9 am- 6 pm. I wonder if most of the dolts are 'work from home' freelancers, who are misusing their privileges.
I hope some introspection is done to revamp processes and to bring in people with integrity.
Microsoft customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
